your project. What do you need to improve?

THIS IS JUST GUIDANCE THAT YOU NEED TO ADAPT TO YOUR OWN PROJECT. YOU HAVE CREATED YOUR
OWN PRODUCTION SCHEDULES AND YOUR WEEKLY BLOGS SHOULD REFELCT THAT.

THESE QUESTIONS SHOULD BE ADDRESSED IN THE WEEKS YOU COMPLETED THEM. DO NOT JUST SUBMIT THIS
FORM FILLED IN FOR YOUR WEEKLY BLOGS. THERE SHOULD BE 11 WEEKLY BLOG ENTRIES (INCLUDING
EASTER).

Week Seven – Filming

PLANNING

What did you learn from your planning I started off this week by going to Birmingham to film my piece to
this week? camera. So didn’t go so well as I rained a lot and my location where
I needed to film was outside. I have looked back at the footage and
I am not happy with it so I will be going back to Birmingham next
Monday to ensure that my piece to camera is to a high standard.
On Tuesday I completed my interview with a captain of a rugby
team and I thought the interview went very well watching it back.
The questions were answered well and I am happy with the interview
as a whole. I also did another interview the same day and this also
went as planned and the answers I received were detailed and
intelligent making it a good interview.

What issues did you encounter and how The only issue I faced this week was filming in the rain making my
did you overcome them? piece to camera poor quality. I overcome this be re filming on
another day and making sure there was no rain on the forecast.

How did you ensure that you are I made a pre-production schedule making sure that I was organised
prepared for filming? and had already practised interviews and made sure I was
confident with setting them up.

How well have you been able to organise I have booked my train tickets to The Hawthorns in Birmingham and I
locations and transport? have finished my script ready to do my piece to camera In front of
the Jeff Astle gate outside West Brom’s stadium. I have also look at
the buses and bus times to make sure I can get to my three
interviews on time.

Are you on track for the week? If not, Yes I am very much in track with this week’s tasks.
