 Provide accurate and timely I&C engineering guidance and advice to all project and asset teams within

business. Provide Assurance reviews of I&C engineering designs to ensure safety, integrity, best-practice fit-
for-purpose designs. Ensure that operations requirements and lessons learned are fed into the design process
for new capital and brownfields projects. Propose I&C design changes to achieve improved safety, reliability,
production optimisation and reduced capital and maintenance cost. Develop and maintain detailed systems
knowledge of all I&C through design, fabrication, construction and operational phases. Managing the
performance of engineering, construction, commissioning and operations activities relating to the
organisations I&C systems; Manage agreed budgets for delivery of third party work scopes. Oversee design
being undertaken by Engineering Contractors and ensure that it is optimised and is fit-for-purpose. Contribute
to the PCAP or ACAL process that is aligned to the DCAF to assure appropriate reviews, verification and
validation of I&C deliverables. Provide Leadership to the I&C Engineering community in the
Organisation. Select and develop resources required to deliver top quartile performance and service delivery.
The I&C Engineer may be asked to deliver, lead or participate in technical studies, safety investigations, CI
projects, and undertake other tasks or activities which from time to time the business deems appropriate.
Interface with engineering, operations, project and asset colleagues across and with Technical Authorities and
Discipline Peers and others across the wider Business. Manage and execute the Deferral process for I&C SCE's.
Support implementation and continuous improvement of AMS standards and manuals. Experienced in Casual
Analysis and troubleshooting of problems. Experienced in managing support contractors and vendors, for
example Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) or field service engineers. Chartered Professional
Engineer At least 10 years I&C engineering experience in the Oil & Gas industry ABB 800XA Integrated Control
and Safety System (ICSS) knowledge an advantage Honeywell Experion SCADA, Honeywell RC50 Remote
Terminal Units (RTU) experience Allen Bradley PLC’s (Including RS Logix programming package) PILZ SIS
controllers with good understanding of the automation requirements and challenges for unconventional
assets.
