18 The JPIA President welcomed and expressed her gratitude to the members of
19Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants’ Members for their complete attendance for
20the meeting. Hence, the meeting was called to order at 1:27 PM at Isabela State
21University, CBAPA Annex, Room 108.

23III. APPROVAL OF THE PROPOSED AGENDA

25 1. Theme of Acquaintance Party

28 Ms. Mariano had suggested the inclusion in the Other Matters - The Venue
29 and designation of tasks. Having no other suggestions or proposed agendas
30 from the members. Ms. Bermudez moved for its adoption as approved and
31 amended was duly seconded by the body.

33IV. REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING.
34 The President requested to go over the minutes of the previous meeting. Having
35no other questions or changes, Ms. Mariano, approved the minutes of the previous
36meeting and was duly seconded by the members.

38 V. MATTERS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETING
39 Ms. Mariano had informed the body that the proposal to held an acquaintance
40party for upcoming freshmen had been approved by the College of Business,
41Accountancy and Public Administration Dean and the College of Accountancy Head
42Teacher, Mrs. Rene Joy Bulos.

44 VI. MATTERS FOR DISCUSSION/ APPROVAL

46 1. Theme for the Upcoming Acquaintance Party
47 As the meeting proceeded, various suggestion had been raised by the
48 members, such as Boho, School Geeks, or Navy Blue. It had been decided
49 through votings; such that Boho and School Geeks Theme garnered 1 vote
50 each, having Navy Blue as the main concept of the Event, properly seconded by
51 the members of the body.

53 2. Proposed Budget
54 As an assignment of task, from the previous meeting Ms. Bermudez, as
55 JPIA Treasurer had discussed and reported the proposed budget of
56 100,000.00php and its breakdown, which composes of the students’ meal, for
57 the equipment and materials to be used for the acquaintance party activities, the
58 awards to be given, and also contingency fund in case of emergency situations.

60 3. Flow of the Program
61 As agreed upon and duly seconded by the members; the flow of the
62 program is as follows: Ms. Bermudez for the Invocation, Ms. Bueno for leading
63 the National Anthem, followed by Mrs. Rene Joy Bulos for the Welcome Address,
64 Introduction of Guest Speaker would be facilitated by Ms. Mariano, followed by
65 the Message of the Guest Speaker. Followed by the Introduction of the
66 Candidates of the On-the-spot, Mr&Ms JPIA Acquiantance 2019. Right after the
67 introduction would be the distribution of meals to the students, followed by the
68 different categories of the said on-the-spot Mr&Ms JPIA Acquaintance 2019, after
69 each category would be different production number from the different classes.
70 After the said segment, Awarding of Winners, and Special Awards for the
71 Students would be conducted, followed by the Acknowledgement Speech by Ms.
72 Tomas, and Closing Remarks by Ms. Mariano.

 75VII. OTHER MATTERS

77The Venue for the Event
78 As perceived by the body, an estimated of more or less 300 freshemen students
79will attend the said event, thus the body had duly decided that the event shall be held
80at Isabela State University Gymnasium on August 17, 2019, 3:30 P.M

82Designation of Tasks
83 As decided upon volunteering for the said tasks. Ms. Dela Cruz was tasked to
84find a guest speaker suited for the said event. Ms. Fabros to find intermediaries for
85the preparation of the students’ meals. Ms. Bermudez for preparing for the Awards to
86be given. It is expected that in the next meeting the said persons shall report about
87the updates or progress of the tasks given to them.

89VIII. SCHEDULE AND VENUE OF THE NEXT MEETING
90 The body agreed that the next Junior Philippine Institute of Accountant’s
91meeting, will be held at Isabela State University, CBAPA Annex, Room 108. The date
92shall be informed by the Secretary once approved.

94IX. ADJOURNMENT
95 Before the meeting was adjourned, Ms. Mariano expressed words of
96 gratitude and encouragement to the members of the body, to continue exerting
97 effort and passion in hopes of helping co-BS Accountancy Students in all aspects
98 that their capabilities could do.
99 With no other things to discuss the meeting was adjourned at 3:17 PM.
