ð Successfully implemented promotional activities for HSBC Personal Loans by negotiating tie-ups
with various travel agencies like Travel Corporation of India.
ð Helped set up the Direct Sales Agents and train the sales personnel.

ð Studied the products offered by competition and methods of distribution used by them.

Projects Undertaken
ð Entry Strategy for IntraComm, Singapore: Assignment for a Singapore based venture capitalist
to gauge the feasibility and attractiveness of partnering Intracomm, an international e business
service and solutions provider in its entry into India.
ð Market Survey and Entry Strategy for HSBC, Ahmedabad: The project involved indepth
quantitative and qualitative market research and analysis in order to formulate an entry strategy for
HSBC in Ahmedabad.
ð Design and Testing of Internet Based Product Offerings: An Independent Project, which
involved the study of consumer behaviour and preferences on the Internet. It aimed at developing
viable product offerings and involved design of concept web sites and in-depth market research.
ð Issues in and Recommendations for Dotcom Valuation: Currently working on this Independent
Project which involves critiquing various valuation methods and making recommendations for a
more robust and effective approach to the same.

Government of India , valid till PhD level, offered to 700 students across India, each year.

Additional Information
Languages known: English, Hindi and Malayalam. Rudimentary knowledge of Tamil and Arabic.
Interests: I love reading, especially Indian authors. I listen to music of all kinds and have taken lessons
in Indian Classical Music. I am an avid roller skater and have also trekked through parts of Kerala
State. As an executive of the National Service Scheme I have also been involved in several social
service initiatives. I enjoy travelling and meeting people and have travelled to and stayed in various
parts of India and abroad.
