The Evac membrane bioreactor (MBR)
The EVAC MBR advanced membrane bioreactor wastewater treatment plant is suitable for all
vessel types. Them MBR plant handles all black (sewage) and grey waters from galleys, sinks,
showers and laundry.

All Evac MBR units are certified according to IMO MARPOL MEPC.159(55) and according to
latest MEPC.227(64) with nutrient removal, thus fulfilling the amendments to the MARPOL Annex
IV as in MEPC.200(62) for passenger ships in restricted areas, e.g. Baltic Sea. The Evac MBR
units also fulfill the requirements of the Rhine river rules. Additionally, Evac can offer USCG
certified MBR units.

The units with ejector vacuum creation (C) are 540 mm longer by length 40 -160C. The MBR 240- 360C are 780 mm longer by length.
We can offer also customized units when space is limited. Bigger units MBR 600 and 900 are available.
