AFFIDAVIT OF WITNESS

I, ATTY. CAMILO MURILLO, single, of legal age, Filipino after having been sworn to in
accordance with law, do hereby depose and state that:

1. On 19 July 1991, I was with accused Michael A. Gatchalian in the National Bureau of
Investigation (NBI) for him to give his statement;

2. Gatchalian gave his statement and the records were kept in the NBI;

3. Director Honesto Aragon, through Atty. Pete Rivera, requested Gatchalian to be the
State’s witness in the Vizconde Massacre;

4. However, this request was declined by Gatchalian and his father;

5. I am executing this affidavit to attest the truth of the forgoing facts and for whatever
purposes this may serve.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto affixed my signature this 31st day of July, 1995 at
Paranaque, Philippines.
