ESET in the News Essay

Watching CNN 10 the News lately for Advisory hasn’t been the best
experience or entertaining if I must be honest. It is on the other hand very
detailed about every topic they talk about. I hope on the news they wouldn’t
just talk about politics and electronics. Most of the time they just tell you
about how the President flew to another country and met the President of
that county. I would like to see for my next semester something different
than just the news.

For the News on August 23, 2018 a 155 mph storm occurred near
Hawaii in the Pacific Ocean. What happened is still not yet announced but
for certain they had Hawaii be on alert to make sure when it is nearby to
take cover and be prepared. How it relates to the Environment is with
hurricanes they show the community that in the Pacific Ocean near Hawaii
there may be serious damage. It is interesting to me because I get to learn
about how hurricanes work and how they travel and also what type of
categories there are.

On the News for Technology on September 17, 2018 Usain Bolt was
invited to NASA’s space station to go experience a couple days in space.
How Usain Bolt was able to go to space for a couple of days was NASA’s
choice of seeing how the fastest man in the world will react to no gravity
pulling down on him. Usain Bolt still won first place even in space so now
he is still the fastest man in the world. It relates to Technology because
NASA is all tech for their equipment and space rockets. It is interesting to
me due to how the fastest man in the world would run in space.

CNN 10 News for Inspiring is on October 09, 2018 Betty Kwan Chinn
Homeless Foundation. In China her family was a target for the government,
so she left to america separated from her family and was homeless for a
while. So she now helps all homeless people as much as she can providing
food and shelter. What’s so inspiring about this story is how a lady at a
very young age separates from her family and is now older and helps
people like her not deal with the same pain and nonsense. What is so
interesting about it is how one person helps other people who are
homeless and it’s not the government it’s one single person.

How the news made me feel different was how here and there some
stories hit you deep down in your heart and feel some type of emotion.
Somewhere you feel like you want to do better for your community. Were
you know the littlest things can make a big difference.
