There are two types of humans, those of whom are Global and
enjoy external interaction and is linked with the right side of the
brain. Then, there are also humans who are dubbed analytical,
focused on internal and directional instruction, corresponding with
the left side of the brain.

Challenges/Strengths and Contributions of Learners

Global learners may find difficulty in tasks with things that are considered mundane, or the same.
They wish to multitask, work with music, try to understand one concept at a time.

Analytical learners may find orderly surroundings with quiet, to help with focus. Prefer to learn with
many concepts all together, finding the similarities within the information.

Strategies for teaching the learner / Learning environment needed to be successful

Certain things, such as light or background music, could hinder the learning of students based on
their personality type.

● How has your perception of diverse learners grown/changed from your perspective as a student?
I have learned that students can fall into two very different categories that need to be adhered to as they
work. This type of learning is important to get the best out of each kid.

● What does this mean for you as a future teacher?

As a future teacher, it is important for me to make sure I am helping both sides out so that the students are
given an environment that they can thrive in.
