Mission Statement
Our mission at Headlinerz is to enable our customer to have the best experience and easiest
access to a wide range of economical concert tickets, as well as provide an easy outlet to
purchase fun and affordable clothing that can be worn at events.
Purpose of Handbook
This handbook’s purpose is to answer any questions employees may have about the company’s
policies, rules, and regulations. This handbook will allow our employees to be put into a stable
and respectful environment. This handbook does not imply or express employment periods and
does not intend to persuade an employee to adhere to the company. It simply informs the reader
about the company’s environment, expectations, and history.
COMPANY POLICIES
Attendance
All absences must be reported ahead of time with valid explanations. Both excused and
unexcused absences will have a deduction in payment unless there is reasonable justification for
absence over a long extent of time.
Conduct
All employees are held at an expectation, everyday, that they will hold themselves with
professionalism and only work to better the culture and growth of the company.
Dress Code
Employees may dress casually throughout the normal work day. Employees are only required to
wear business attire in the certain events including, but not limited to: leadership conferences,
trade shows, networking, special visitors, career days and presentations.
Performance
Employee performances will be verified and reviewed quarterly. Supervisors will make sure that
the employees maintain a fresh and positive attitude, while enriching the entirety of the
workplace. It is expected that every employee carries out assigned tasks and meets deadlines.
The HR department will evaluate the employees and hold private discussions for room of
improvement. The employees of HR will also be evaluated by the CAO. Employees that go
Company Property
All property, including but not limited to laptops and equipment, are for business use only.
Company materials cannot be used for personal use.
BENEFITS
Compensation
Pay will be based on position and attendance. Salary is a progressive bracket, in which higher
positions and titles equate to higher pay. However, pay may be deducted based off of offense.
SAFETY
Diversity
Located in the Chicago suburb of Aurora, Headlinerz holds diversity to the utmost level of
importance. Employees of all backgrounds, ethnicities, nationalities, and sexualities are
welcome. Racial slurs and any sort of discrimination will not be tolerated under any
circumstances.
Sexual Harassment
Theft
Theft under any circumstances is punishable to the fullest extent of the law. Everyone employed
in this company is subject to the same rights for the protection and safety of personal belongings
and adherence of individual responsibilities.
Bullying
Bullying is unacceptable. Bullying in any form, virtual, physical, or verbal, will met with
disciplinary actions.
Leave policies
Disciplinary Action
Disciplinary actions can vary based on the offense committed. For first time offences, a verbal
warning may be given. If the perpetrator commits an offense thrice, then they will be given a
written warning and possibly more severe punishment from higher level supervisors.
TERMINATION POLICIES
Voluntary Termination
Should there be a personal situation in which voluntary termination of employment is necessary,
the company requests that the employee provide two weeks advance notice. There may be a
withholding of their final paycheck if the two-weeks notice is not given.
Final Paycheck
Final paychecks will be available 2 weeks after final date of employment.
The following actions are unacceptable and considered grounds for disciplinary action:
- Engaging in discrimination
- Engaging in abusive behavior
- Distributing illegal drugs
- Consuming/inheriting alcohol or illegal substances
- Theft
- Continuous unexcused absence
- Damage of the company’s property
- Falsification of documents and reports
- Extreme lying
- Failure to meet deadlines for responsibility
- Harm of oneself or others
- Disrespect to supervisors/ co-workers
Termination
Employment is based upon performance and behavior. Status may be terminated at any time due
to failure in complying with company policy.
Emergency Procedures
In the case of an emergency, call 911 immediately. In case of a fire or other emergency alert
proceed to the nearest exit or designated exit.
