IV. PROCEDURES ELICIT
In order to prepare children in class, the teacher will have to ask the
following questions:

1. Who among you here shows interest on dancing?


2. Are you a fan of watching dance competitions?
3. Have you ever at least tried performing on stage?
4. If yes, when was your most unforgettable performance on
stage? What makes it unforgettable?

After asking these questions related to the learners’ experiences, the


teacher will help children establish connections on the things that they
already know to the things that they wanted to know.

perform the basic arm/hand positions. They will be grouped into 5 and
will only be given 5 minutes to prepare.

Instruction: Perform each of the following arm/hand position.

folk dance and one rural folk dance in the Philippines and have it
presented on the following day.)

Direction: Choose at least one rural or one urban folk dance in the
Philippines. Indicate the place where the dance originated and write
descriptions on it. Report/ present it tomorrow with your
corresponding group.
