INTRODUCTION TO AIRBUS

Airbus is an international pioneer in the aerospace industry. We are a leader in

designing, manufacturing and delivering aerospace products, services and
solutions to customers on a global scale. We aim for a better-connected, safer and
more prosperous world.

A commercial aircraft manufacturer, with Space and Defence as well as

Helicopters Divisions, Airbus is the largest aeronautics and space company in
Europe and a worldwide leader.

Airbus has built on its strong European heritage to become truly international –
with roughly 180 locations and 12,000 direct suppliers globally. The company
has aircraft and helicopter final assembly lines across Asia, Europe and the
Americas, and has achieved a more than sixfold order book increase since 2000.

Innovation has always been a driving force at Airbus, which promotes

cutting-edge technologies and scientific excellence to contribute to global progress.
Through its predecessor companies, Airbus pioneered many of the technologies
that helped conquer the skies and are now part of everyday life.

Airbus encourages its industry-leading experts to push their boundless

imaginations, moving the company into the Industry 4.0 era and inventing new
possibilities for the future of flight: from manned and unmanned vehicles for
urban mobility, to hybrid and electric propulsion systems for cleaner aviation.

Airbus is managed by the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee. Air bus'
Corporate Governance ensures that Airbus is managed according to our
Regulating Laws and Articles of Association, and evolves in order to match our
growth ambitions, meet our obligations and reach the goals we set ourselves. Our
Governance strives to be a transparent body, matching the expectations of the
Company’s shareholders throughout the world.
INTRODUCTION TO AIRBUS H145

Designed to deliver excellent performance throughout the flight envelope, Airbus’

H145 is the latest member of its 4-ton-class twin-engine rotor craft product range –
with designed-in mission capability and flexibility, especially in high and hot
operating conditions. Compact in size, this helicopter’s small footprint and large,
flexible cabin make it the aircraft of choice for a variety of civil missions.

The H145’s compact footprint, unobstructed cabin and flat floor lend themselves to
a full range of applications, accommodating:

 one or two pilots and up to eight passengers in standard configuration,

 one or two pilots and up to 10 passengers in a higher density configuration.

This multi-purpose rotor craft is tailored for emergency medical services and law
enforcement duties, along with aerial work, passenger transport -
including private and business aviation - and offshore operations. For multi -
mission operators, the H145 can be reconfigured for different roles quickly and
easily.

2020 sees EIS of a new innovative version of the H145, equipped with a
five-bladed main rotor. The H145 extends its transport capability and provides
operators with an excellent smoothness of flight.

The H145 offers exceptional performance thanks to Safran Helicopter engines

Arriel 2E power plant and dual full-authority digital engine control (FADEC) –
along with the helicopter’s upgraded main and tail rotor systems. This guarantees
an unprecedented level of performance in both hover and one-engine inoperative
(OEI) conditions.
The Fenestron technology brings benefits such as improved flight and ground
safety to customers, as well as enhanced anti-torque control efficiency, reduced
power demand in forward flight, and lower sound and vibration levels.

The Fenestron also has a redesigned tail gearbox that contributes to lower
maintenance costs. It incorporates a duplex tail rotor actuator and dual hydraulic
circuits – installed in a new damage-tolerant all-composite tail boom.

Airbus’ Helionix® avionics suite, connected to the wireless Airborne

Communication Server (wACS), provides undisputed superiority for in-flight
envelope protection, pilot assistance and situational awareness – resulting in
unprecedented flight safety levels.

Meeting the latest international avionics standards, the Helionix installation

integrates an innovative alerting and self-monitoring system.

Additionally, the H145 is equipped with an advanced dual-duplex, 4-axis

autopilot specifically designed for helicopters.

This offers:

 High flight stability and precision

 Unique flight envelope

 Over-limit protection

 Automated takeoff

 Fully-coupled approaches to hover.

Building on Airbus’ extensive experience from the H145 family, the new H145’s
maintenance procedures optimize the intervals between periodic inspections,
ensuring increased availability and reduced operating costs.

The optional health monitoring system with usage monitoring system (HUMS) keep
track of the engine’s health in accordance with usage conditions, resulting in
further availability and enhanced, cost-effective maintenance.
