Objectives: at the end of 30 minutes lesson, the students will be able to:

Motivational Activity:
The students will find out the characteristics of each character in the movie- inside out.

Procedure:

A. PRE-READING

 What can you say about the Actors/actresses? Did they give justice to their characters?

2. Motive Question
Have you ever loved someone whom you feel you can’t live without? Today, we are going to read a
selection from A Secret Sorrow and we will find out how does the two person loved each other.
B. DURING READING
(the students will read it silently)

a. What was the text all about?
b. What is the mood in the story?
c. If you were Kai, what would you feel if your fiancé is barren?

class will be divided into three and each group will choose a line from the selection which they
will interpret or play.

3. Generalization
Why do we need to express emotional reactions to what was asserted in a text?

4. Assignment
Prepare a speech which you will present on Friday. Make sure that you applied the proper
emotions in your performance.
