Samik Gupta
Samik Gupta is a technology leader with nearly 27 years of experience in
some of the world’s top companies and in some of the most critical hi-
tech segments.

Samik has extensive experience in managing large embedded software

teams in networking and telecom domains. In stints in critical technology
areas and in leadership positions with Intel, Mindspeed and AT&T, Samik
led the development of cutting-edge products and managed important
teams.

He is very comfortable in interfacing with customers to understand their needs and support them to
reach production, and is experienced in both US and Indian environments (and in coordinating between
them). He has proven ability to architect a complete software system, drive the execution and ship it in
production systems. He is familiar with IoT architectures from sensors to edge-computing to IoT clouds
(AWS, Azure) and has extensive experience with communications protocols of all kinds including IoT
protocols. Samik is also highly experienced in software for embedded systems including drivers,
bootloaders, Linux and RTOS and security. He continues to remain hands-on with software development
for embedded systems, web applications (Node.js) and the web front-end.

 Dwijottam Bhattacharjee
Dwijottam’s 26-year career has led him to acquire expertise across domains
(especially financial services and capital markets) in setting up and running
technology and business process services for top-tier banks and companies,
such as ABN AMRO Bank NV and UBS AG.

Dwijottam has worked with customers in Switzerland, the US and the UK to

understand their requirements and deliver services to their satisfaction. His
expertise in equity research gives him insights into business issues and their
financial impact across domains. He has also managed projects hands-on,
both in implementing technology and in assessing, changing and stabilizing
business processes. As Practice Lead for Risk Management at UBS India, he
developed models that estimated operations and financial risk exposure of technology and processes.

Dwijottam’s early background as a senior financial journalist also provides him with a strong network
and the ability to quickly develop required connections especially within the Indian environment.

learning-based tools that provide deep, sometimes surprising predictive insights on every segment of
the HR lifecycle: recruitment, talent management, performance management and ratings, compensation

ThinkPower Technologies Pvt. Ltd

ThinkPower is a start-up in design stage with an automatic meter reader that collects digital data from
three-phase digital electronic meters and sends that data through wireless means to electric sub-
stations. ThinkPower also has a number of building automation and other IoT product designs in its
pipeline. Role: entrepreneur.
UBS AG/UBS India
Director, Transitions and Solutions (Research), Practice Lead (Risk), Offshoring Vendor Management

Dwijottam worked on transitioning financial research processes from various parts of the globe to India,
resolving process and technology challenges along the way. Based out of Zurich, Switzerland, and out of
Hyderabad, India, he handled standards documentation for offshoring vendors. He also headed the UBS
India Hyderabad center practice for Risk.
