1. CHAPTER 1 SHOULD BE “The Problem and It’s Setting” unless your Professor told you to have a sub-
title of “An Introduction and a Review of Related Literature and Studies”. It depends upon the
University/College Format.

2. You should mention the sources (Authors & year of publication) of your views and claims in the
introduction to make it objective and not subjective.

3. Use quotation mark on statements in the Introduction which are copied from sources word for
word (Verbatim) and recognize the sources by mentioning them.

4. In the Conceptual Framework mention who started and the expert in concrete slab flat roof and
corrugated metal roof you are mentioning here,

“ The conceptual framework starts with the experts in concrete slab flat roof and corrugated metal
roof and also the manufacturer of roofing materials. Being one of the highly industrialized cities in
Nueva Ecija,”

For Conceptual Framework means that you are basing your study on the Concept or idea of someone,
who is that someone?

5. After the Conceptual Framework, title your figure “Research Paradigm or Paradigm”, label the
figure and use arrow to identify the flow of the process in the figure, if you are using The IPO model
INPUT, PROCESS, OUTPUT model, identify in the figure which is the Input, the process, and the output.
After the figure discuss what is the figure all about.

6. If I may suggest adjustments on your Statement of the Problems

1. How may the corrugated metal roofing be described in terms of:

1.1 Life span;

1.2 Economical;

1.3 Durability; and

1.4 Easy to install and maintain?

2. How may the concrete slab roofing be described in terms of:

2.1 Life span;

2.2 Economical;

2.3 Durability; and

2.4 Easy to install and maintain?

3. How may the experiences in using corrugated metal roofing be described in terms of:

3.1 comfortability; and

3.2 safety?

4. How may the experiences in using concrete slab roofing be described in terms of:

3.1 comfortability; and

3.2 safety?

5. Is there a significant difference between the usage benefits of corrugated metal and concrete slab
roofing?

Hypotheses

There is no significant difference between the usage benefits of corrugated metal and concrete slab
roofing.

7. In the scope and Delimitation (Delimitation not Limitation) mention from where will be your
sources of information/respondents and why them? And in the Delimitation what will be the possible
problems that you might encounter that will delimit your data gathering.

8. In the Significance of the study mention people/organizations that might benefit from your study
then briefly discuss why they will be benefitted by your study. Enumeration/Bullet type presentation.

9. Definition of terms should be alphabetically arranged.
