REVIEW OF HARRY POTTER MOVIES

Joanne Rowling, she was born on July 31st 1965. Writing under the pen names J. K.
Rowling and Robert Galbraith, she is a British novelist, philanthropist, film producer,
television producer and screenwriter, best known for writing the Harry Potter fantasy
series, Fantastic animals and how to find them, Quidditch through the History and The
tales of Beedle the Bard, which together have surpassed the five hundred million copies
sold. The books have won multiple awards, becoming the best-selling book series in
history. They have also been the basis for a film series, over which Rowling had overall
approval on the scripts and was a producer on the final films in the series.

Harry Pottter and the Sorcerer’s Stone

Till now there's been no magic for Harry Potter. He lives with the miserable Dursleys and
their abominable son, Dudley. Harry's room is a tiny closet under the stairs, and he hasn't
had a birthday party in eleven years.
But then a mysterious letter arrives by messenger owl: a letter with an invitation to an
incredible place called Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. And there he finds
not only friends, but also flying sports on broomsticks, and magic in everything from the
classes to the meals. However, a great destiny that's been waiting for him........if Harry can
survive the encounter with he who must not be named.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

Harry's second year at Hogwarts is rife with fresh torments and horrors, including an
stupid and dumb new profesor, Gilderoy Lockhart, a spirit named Moaning Myrtle who
haunts the girls' bathroom, and the unwanted attentions of Ron Weasly's younger sister,
Ginny.
But these seem minor when the real throuble begains, and someone - or something -
starts turning Hogwarts students to stone. Could it be Draco Malfoy, a more poisonous
rival than ever? Could it possibly be Hagrid, whose mysterious past is finally reveled? or
could it be the one everyone at Hogwarts most suspects of.... Harry Potter himself?!

copias vendidas. Los libros han ganado múltiples premios, convirtiéndose en la serie de
libros más vendidos en la historia. También han sido la base de una serie de películas,
sobre la cual Rowling tuvo la aprobación general de los guiones y fue productora de las
películas finales de la serie.
