Dear Syuhada,
I miss you already. You have moved to a new school. I hope you are doing wellthere. I wanted to
tell you about Cha-Ching curriculum at my school. In Cha-Chingcurriculum, I learned the
meaning of collaboration in this programme. In my group, we discussed when we have problem. I
also learned the social skills because we have to make group presentations based on the task.
I also learned to do decision making when needed. I was taught by teachers about financial
capability in this programme. This programme also make me know that we have to see the
innovation on each item we make.
The Cha-Ching curriculum also has sixcharacters. They are Pepper,Zul,Charity,Justin,Prudence
and Bobby who make up the band,Cha-Ching. Originally friends from school, the character
through their roles in the band and everyday lives experience situations that involve money and
the fundamental money management concept of Earn,Save,Spend, and Donate.
This programme has improve my English. It is because we have to speak in English along this
programme. This programme teach me onhow to manage money. I like thisprogramme. You have
to join this programme if this programme available in your school.

IF YOU ARE A MILLIONAIRE, HOW WOULD YOU MANAGE YOUR
WEALTH?

If I am a millionaire, I would do my best to provide permanent shelter, food

and clothing for the poor. I would open schools for them where the children could
learn. I would help them to be so independent that they can find fruitful employment
for themselves.
I would also build hospitals to provide them with good medical facilities.
Malaysia has progressed a lot and we do have a good medical facilities but the poor
people cannot afford these. If a poor child is sick, there is possibility that he may die
due to lack of medicines and doctors. I would like to build a hospital with modern
facilities where people can get medical assistance free of cost.
I would donate my money to social service organisations like destitute homes,
orphanages, homes for the aged and reformatories. Unfortunately, when one becomes extremely
rich, he will forget those who are less fortunate. My motto would be, “Don’t be impressed by
money, followers, degrees and titles. Be impressed by kindness, integrity, humility and
generosity. In fact, I would do all that I could for my parents too so that they may not have to
break their backs working for us. I would make them so comfortable even in their old age. I
would like to enjoy the fruits of money but I would always remain sensitive and
sympathethic to the agony of those who are less fortunate.

Dear Insyirah,

How are you? I hope you are in the pink when you receive this letter. I also hope your family is in
healthy condition. My family and I here are just fine. Our friends are also in the pink.

How are you at your new school? I hope you get many friends like you do in our school. Did you
know that our school had launched Cha-ching Curriculum? The Cha-ching Curriculum is a holistic
programme that educates primary school children`s like us. This programme has managed to emphasize
economist and social skills into this curriculum.

This teacher-driven programme focuses on four key concepts which are Earn,Save,Spend and Donate
in our daily life which support attitudes as we explore and enhance our money management skills. It
also can help our management when we adult. Our country will need people who are efficient in
managing their money.

Based on the topic we are discussed, there are four concepts which are Earn,Save,Spend and Donate.
Means of Earn is we could Earn money ourselves. When we do so, we know how precious the money is.
Secondly, we can save the money that we earn in the bank for future use. When we save our money, we
can use it when we face emergency. Thirdly, we can spend the money that we have save to buy some
books or something important. So, we do not need to ask our parents money. Lastly, we can donate
some of the money to people who are disabled or poor. That`s the explanation of Cha-ching curriculum.

l will end this letter here because l need to help my mother to cook. l hope you can reply this letter
as soon as possible because l will always miss you for sure. That`s all for today.

Thank you and miss you.
