Ms Akrat : Good Evening , Ms Elkhachia, i Hope you are doing Good.

Ms Elkhachia : I am Thank you very much, how are you doing and how was your flight ?

Ms Akrat : It was pretty long but it’s serving a good purpose.

Ms Elkhachia : Great , it’s a pleasure having you around , let’s go straight to the objective of this
meeting . You’ve emailed us about about the rental of the 3 largest stores in Sunset Mall , right ?

Ms Akrat : Exactly ! the largest store will serve as a showroom for my luxury Gowns , the second one
will be my jewlery store and the third one, the smallest, will be an exclusive store for my upper class
cutomers who are interested in precious stones and diamonds. It’s a new concept introduced in
Morocco.

Ms Elkhachia : that’s amazing ! congradulations for the new concept. However i’ve just had a
meeting with my Financial manager and we have some issues with liquidity.

Ms Akrat : And how does it effect me and my project ?

Ms Elkhachia : the board directors have decided to adopt a new payment strategy since they are
selling most of the holdings in marketable Securities because as i said we have a liquidity problem, so
they have come up with the obligation that retailers need to pay us in advance at least a quarter of
the amount .

Ms Akrat : That’s a real dilemma . I’m facing the exact same issue because of my Jewelery Line so im
ending up having a lack of liquidity due to this new Investment , further more i still have the
renovation expenses .

Ms Elkhachia : im really sorry but the boards are being picky with their decision. How about paying in
advance only 20% of the rental amount of the 3 stores. This is the only way i can keep it less harmful
for both sides.

Ms Akrat : i really cannot afford paying off all this before i get renovations done.

Ms Elkhachia : you already know the prepayment régulations . so i can’t really figure it out , but i’m
going to make it even easier for you since you are loyal Customer of ours and we’ve been doing
business with you for a long time. My proposition will be as follow to satisfy you and avoiding to
harm the general interest of the holding group. Anyways , you can exclusively pay 100000 MAD as
25% of Pre-payment amounts of the largest 2 stores , and then we will give you enough time once
rénovations are done , you can pay the 2 months in advance for the smallest store.

Ms Akrat : I’m still not convinced about your proposition… I really can’t afford paying 100 000 MAD in
less than one week

Ms Elkhachia : Well, the best thing i can do is to postpone the payment date one more week , which
means that you will be paying 100 000 MAD in 2 weeks . However we need to sign the contracts now.
So that you will insure the property of the stores, but no renovation should be done before the
payment is executed .

Ms Akrat : Well, i guess that I have no other choice , otherwise i’m going to end up loosing the 3
stores and the Mall’s location is perfect for the category targeted .
Ms Elkhachia : Perfect then, congradulations to both of us , let’s sign the contract . it’s a real pleasure
having you around .

Ms Akrat : Thank you Ms Elkhachia For your Precious time , let’s make this deal official and maybe Go
out for a dinner , us being friends not just business partners
