GENERAL OBJECTIVE

 To analyze the practice of corporate communication by MILO Malaysia.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

 To describe the corporate identity elements of the company


 To evaluate the employee relations programs conducted
 To evaluate on corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs conducted
 To discuss on government relations programs conducted
 To evaluate the media relations programs conducted
 To explain the effectiveness of selected promotional materials produced

THE BRIEF

As a group, analyze the corporate communication practices by MILO Malaysia.


You may analyze the company based on secondary data collected from corporate websites, internet, or
printed materials such as annual reports, newsletters, news articles, brochures, etc. You are also expected to
explain each component listed below with good justification and specific examples.

A. REPORT (20%)
Your report should contain the following information:

2. Background of the company with examples of its products/services.
Include description of the history, types of products/services, branches, etc., supported with relevant
pictures. (4 marks)
3. Description on FIVE (5) corporate identity elements of the company.
Describe each element. Explain the effectiveness of each element with relevant picture. (10 marks)

4. Evaluate TWO (2) employee relations programs implemented by the company.


Include description of the programs and relevant pictures. Explain the effectiveness of the programs.
Attach relevant articles. (4 marks x 2 = 8 marks)

5. Evaluate TWO (2) types of CSR programs implemented by the company.


Include description of the programs and relevant pictures. Explain the effectiveness of the programs.
Attach relevant articles. (4 marks x 2 = 8 marks)

6. Description of ONE (1) government relations program the company.
Include description of the programs and relevant pictures. Explain the effectiveness of the program.

Include description of the promotional materials and relevant pictures/attachments. Explain the
effectiveness of the promotional materials (3 marks x 4 = 12 marks)
9. Summary: Explain how those programs have helped the company/brand to enhance its corporate
identity and corporate image; and nourish positive relationships with its stakeholders.
Explain the effectiveness of the programs by relating your answer to corporate’s identity, image and
stakeholders’ relationships. Justify your answer. (5 marks)

RULES AND REGULATION

 Distribute tasks fairly among group members.


 Presentation attire: Formal
 If any one of the group members is not contributing fairly to the preparation of the project report,
then the remaining group members may exclude the respected person’s name.
 Late submission of report will NOT be entertained.
 Late comers for presentation will NOT be allowed to present.
Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. Zero mark will be given if one’s work is found copied from the others.
 TWO (2) copies of the report have to be submitted before you start your presentation or else,
you are NOT allowed to present. ONE (1) colored-printed copy and ONE (1) black & white
printed copy.
 Hard copy of the slides has to be included in both copies of the report (as Attachment).
 On the presentation day, you have to bring your own laptop.
