I decided to choose scenario 1 in which Employees are the learners. Their characteristics
are learning styles and applying knowledge. The target audience’s performance gap is adapting
from old software to new software. The knowledge problem is unfamiliarity of where tools are
in the software. Given there’s a gap between old software and new software, it might slow
down the work efficiency and may frustrate the employees. The performance gap may be a
problem for some people that is why a training will benefit and help employees to be more
The goal is to be comfortable with the new software. It will be a little tough to do so but it will
be beneficial for everyone. Who does not like new update system. At first it will give everyone a
hard time, but will get used to it and start liking it because of its new features. Give them a time
limit to learn the new software. Observe every week to see which group is good. Keeping data
helps to know what can be done next to help and have a better understanding of the software.
The trainer can be creative by using multiple options for resources such as projector, laptop,
conference room, posters, board, markers, buzzer, and small gifts. One of the training project’s
constraint can be how big should the audience be. If 100 employees are working at one
location; having all of them attend the training together can jeopardize the actual work flow.

The training can slow the process for the company because there has to be multiple training
sessions to cover all 300 employees. Another constraint can be where this training should be
held. If 300 employees are divided in 3 different locations, the question raises whether to have
training sessions at every campus or get about 30 employees (90 employees altogether) from
every location and have them meet at one mutual location. Also, it might get challenging to
arrange for a big room that can fit about 75-90 employees.
PowerPoint is one of a great option for the audience by adding snapshots of the actual software
and have arrows on each tool explaining their role. After presentation, we can have them divide
in groups and start a jeopardy game to test their knowledge and how attentive they were.
Another way can be to give them assignment first in a group and have them find all the tools in
the new software. This method can get them all curious where things are located and to be
proactive in finding things. After having them answer all the questions, a presentation can be
