Life without Technology

How would you feel without using any kind of technology? Would survive
a day without it? Most of us humans these days sure cannot live a day
without using any kind of technology. We are raised thru technology and
we are living with technology. Technology is the main tool of us human
to survive life. “Life isn’t life without using technology”, according
to many. A lot of technologies are being made and being improved everyday.
And the technology industry will continue to grow, and will never stop
growing. The most used and common technology nowadays are cellphones, from
hard-touch keypad antenna phone to soft-touch touchscreen android and ios
phone. Phones are getting better and better, their size are getting bigger,
their camera are being enhanced. their system became AI, and their memory
from kilobyte to terabyte. These days if you know how to use any kind of
technology just like cellphone, computer, Ipad, and many more, people will
mock at you or call you ignorant.

Me as a person, I call myself as a technology dependent person. I admit

that I surely cannot live with any kind of technology, especially my phone
and personal computer. I am using these two kind of technology almost 10
hours a day. As I wake up in the morning, the first thing that I am doing
is to play mobile games then before going to bed my laptop is my destination,
I treat these two as my girlfriends.

Way back to those days when my guardians are still confiscating my

phone and laptop during school days. I really can’t survive without them.
What am I doing those times is I will go to the computer shop with the
permission of my guardians, and I will stay there for four hours a day.
DOTA is my life those days. I changed a lot those days, I am lucky that
I changed to a better person; I learned how to manage my time, I learned
to how prioritize things, my communication skills became better, and my
computer addiction didn’t affect my studies. I am just an average student,
I really didn’t aim to attain high grades and be one of the honor student,
I just make sure that I will not get a failing grades.

My day without technology for sure is the worst thing that will happen
to me. I was raised with them,they are were my buddies when I was alone
in the city, they were my way of communicating my friends and families,
they were tools in feeding myself, they were my transportation is
attaining my goals in life, they were my partner in crime when I had
problems, and they were my comeback when I almost lost myself.
How was life during your youth?

 Masaya noon,hindi ganito na puro cellphone nalang ang hawak ng mga

kabataan. Dati para makipagkwentuhan sa mga kaibigan mo kailangan mo
pa silang puntahan sa kanilang bahay, pero ngayon ang dali nalang,
isang pindot lang sa cellphone pwede na kayong magkwentuhan kahit na
magdamag.Ang sarap makipagkwentuhan noong araw.

Are there a lot of differences these days when you were still young?

 Sobrang dami,sa mga kagubatan, sa mga ilog, pati sa mga sakahan. Dati
ang pagsasaka napaka simple lang, dati wala pang gaanong mga gamot
na linalagay sa mga tanim,dahil manu-mano ang pag-aani pero ngayon
ang dami-dami ng mga makinaryang mga naimbenta,mula sa pag-tatanim
hanggang sa pag-aani.

Compare the today’s from the technologies during the old timeas.

 Gaya nga nang sinabi ko kanina, ang dami-daming pagbabago na ang

naganap, di hamak na mas advance ang mga teknolohiya kesa noon. Dati
kapag may telebisyon kayo mayaman na ang tingin sa inyo ng mga tao.
Simple lang talaga noon,wala kang ibang ini-isip kundi ang pagtatanim
mga gulay, gulay na pwede mong ibenta sa palengke at pwede ring
pang-ulam niyo.

Do you want to go back from those times?

 Kung ako ang tatanungin mas gusto ko yung tahimik na buhay noon, walang
masyadong ini-isip. Ngayon ang dami ng prinoproblema ng mga tao. Dahil
yan mga naiimbento ng mga nakapag-aral. Dahil mga makabagong
teknolohiya na nagagwa mas marami ang makakapagpabagabag sa isip ng
mga tao. Sinasabi nilang mas madali na ang buhay ngayon dahil sa mga
iyan, kaso para sa akin mas lalo lang humihirap ang buhay, paunti ng
paunti ang mga natural na pinagkukunan ng mga pangangailangan ng tao,
paunti ng paunti ang hayop at marami pang ibang mga nangyayaring
kababalaghan sa ating lipunan.
