s-is-short-sighted-44623

The Current Childcare Bill of 2015-2016 proposes to restrict the eligibility criteria of
availing childcare only to working parents. It is evident from the recent studies that
government is visualising child care only to working parents broadly considering it to
be a support strategy for only employed parents. Whereas, parents who are still
persuing their education, training, or are trying to seek a job or planning a start-up are
getting excluded from availing a quality child care services. If Government is really
trying to bridge the gap between employes and unemployed citizens, they should deal
with himself.. if they are discriminating child care services on basis of employment
and unemployment of parents, it is not only going to widen the gap but would also
increasing the further.

Another issue emerging within the spectrum of childcare is that, chil care srvices are
bcoming more costly I Britain, as a result of which, more families having children
under three-year ol either having to depend upon self-employment,employer
perovided voucher, or fan free scheme .though there has been some changes propose
to improve the system, the problem of avaling these services for older child before and
after school still remains unresolved. According to statistical reports, holiday child
care has become 1.7 % more expensive than what it had been in 2013. due to this,
holiday child care is getting out of budget for majority of population day by day.

U. K’s child care service is now marked as world’s one of the most expensive child
care service. Assisting parents in raising up the Second Generation is always
considered as a social investment. If the outlook of the Government is really similar to
this, then it should no doubt have taken steps like extending access to more free child
care to all children without making any discrimination on basis of employment or
unemployment of parents. Compromising on quality child care, on basis of
employment and unemployment, of parents would srtictly indicate the fact that quality
chil care is definitely not seen as essential public service.

Thus, this article basically shows how Government would provide it’s assistance to
increase the rate of childcare services. It also shows how proper child care services
would contribute in bridging the gap between employed and the unemployed. It also
encounters various issues which comes as hurdles in the path of providing quality
childcare to next generation of Citizens.
