I choose to draw a ship to explain one of the ways that human trafficking occurs. Human
trafficking can occur by ship and is one big way that people are taken here in Duluth, along with
others along the great lakes. This is an easy way to take a person because it is easy to hide the
person and do many things to this person if they are on a ship that has no cameras or any security
what so ever. In my drawing, I drew many crates that are located on the ship because, in much of
my research, it was found that these people that get trafficked are placed in crates so they are
well hidden and don't look suspicious in any sort of way. Another important key factor that I
added in my drawing was cameras that are placed on and off the ship. I did this because in much
of my research I found that cameras are not located on the ship which makes it easier for people
to be taken. Therefore, I made these cameras in my drawing because I feel that this is an
important measure that needs to be taken in order to ensure Duluth and other places along the
great lakes, a more safer community just by doing one simple thing. Overall I drew this because
of all the research I did on human trafficking and how big of an issue it truly is. Everything in
this picture either states something that is already happening, or that needs to happen. Human
