 1 Overview
The DO100 parking occupation detector is designed for parking bay detection, especially for
open sky parking bay detection.

1.1 Build-in Structure(LoRaWan Module)

Through the built in with LoRaWan wireless module, the parking bay occupation sensor
which help the user to monitor the status automatically via network server ,gateway and
application or Mobile App. This mobile application is very useful and helpful for the user at
the finally user can monitor the status remotely. It is optional for frequency
CN470,EU868,US915, AU915,AS923 that’s why it is useful any part of part of world due to
its frequency range.
As it is with algorithm of low power consumption the internal battery works for more than
5 years*. The IP68 level ensure the endurable working outdoor protection level is high.

* Notes: based on the application of 4 times status change (two vehicles enter
and leave).

7 Software Platform
7.1 Network Diagram

The data about user of device will be collect from the D0100 parking occupation
sensors will be received to the GSM/GPRS network. After that the data from usage
sensor of GPRS network will be transferred through the internet to the IoT cloud
Network (Internet of Things).In the next step the data will be received to the user
through the internet at the application software and the user can see manually
status about his installed devices at any time and any place but for IoT internet is
very important part of that process.

8 Protocol and API Interface

The communication protocol(API Interface) is confidential is only open for customer
who has purchase the device and sign the NDA(non-disclosure agreement) file with
CNDingtek and his own Company. Please contact our sales team
service@dingtek.com if you want to integrate the protocol/API with your own
system.

9 Installation & Test

9.1 Installation on ground

Make one hole on ground which can put the sensor into. No need to be much bigger, it is
enough if the top cover of sensor can be at same level as the ground.

Drill 3 small hole for expansion screw. Connect with expansion screw.

Mount the sensor at ground. Make sure that the sensor top is same level as the ground. Then
restore the ground hole.

Use magnetic coin near the sensor especially the one with black point label. Keep for 5
seconds, then take the magnetic coin far away. The sensor led will flash and the sensor will
restart. For the first 30 seconds (0.5 minute), the module will be in at learning mode. Please
keep no vehicle at top of the sensor. After the 30seconds learning mode the sensor will be
ready.

9.2 Monitor by Platform

After installation, the sensor status will be displayed on the system while occupation status
changed and it is test platform of LoRaWan parking occupation sensor.
