Mathematics-IIA & IIB, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology of
second year Intermediate course under Part-III with effect from the
academic year 2013-14 – Information-Reg.

This is to inform that the syllabus and textbooks of Mathematics-IIA & IIB,
Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology for second year Intermediate Course in the
state has been revised with effect from the academic year 2013-14. The new textbooks
in these subjects are prescribed and prepared by the Board of Intermediate Education,
AP, and printed and distributed by Telugu Akademi, Hyderabad. The Principals, Jr.
Lecturers and Students of Intermediate Education are requested to follow the same.
These books are available in the market.

It is also informed that there is no change in the Question Paper pattern of

Mathematics-IIA & IIB, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology under Part-III for
second year Intermediate Course with effect from Intermediate Public Examinations
March, 2014. The revised syllabus and Model Question papers of these subjects were
printed in the new textbooks for second year which will come into effect from the
Academic year 2013-14.

However the failed candidates are permitted to appear for second year in these
subjects under part-III for Intermediate Public Examinations with old syllabus/text book
in the ensuing Intermediate Public Examinations March, 2014 and Advanced
Supplementary Intermediate Public Examinations May/June 2014 only.

All the Principals are requested to give wide publicity to the same among the
students and Junior Lecturers and display a copy of this letter in the college notice
board.
