A. Content Standard
The learners demonstrate an understanding of protection and conservation of natural
resources.
B. Performance Standard
The learners shall be able to show protection and conservation of natural resources.
C. Learning Competency
The learners shall be able to recognize that soil, water, rocks, coals, and other fossil
fuels are earth materials that people use as a resources. (Code: S7ES-IVc-4)

I-OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
1. Determine the effects of human activities on our natural resources.
2. Demonstrate the effects of human activity on our natural resources through their
group presentation.
3. Relate the importance of natural resources in human life.

2. Putting class in order
“Before you take your sit, please pick up
the unnecessary things under your chair,
and please arrange your chairs properly”.

B. Motivation

Before we proceed to the group presentation, let’s


first have an activity, I have here a crumpled
papers. I will be asking you a questions about what
we have discussed last meeting. Your luck
depends on this crumpled papers.

“Are you ready?” ”yes ma’am”

Thank you class for participating. That activity


was done, for you to regain your energy, and
to review what we have discussed last
meeting. Now, are you ready to present your
work? “Yes ma’am”

“Okay, but before that let me first present


you the rubrics.” This is how you will be
graded.

their sits)

“Conserving and protecting our natural resources


can make them last and be available for the
future generations. This is what sustainability of
natural resources mean. That’s why each one of
us should think about how to make things
sustainable. Remember, the lives of future
generation depend on how we use natural
resources today.”

VI-ASSIGNMENT/AGREEMENT:
Make a slogan showing how to protect and conserve our natural resources. Put it in a short
coupon bond. Design your slogan artistically and make it presentable to the class. Deadline of
submission of slogan will be tomorrow February 7, 2018.
