SERIES OF 2019

RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2019 ANNUAL BARANGAY

YOUTH INVESTMENT PROGRAM (ABYIP) OF
BARANGAY SANGKAL, PRESIDENT ROXAS, CAPIZ AND
ENDORSING THE SAME TO THE BARANGAY COUNCIL AND SANGGUNIANG
BAYAN OF THIS MUNICIPALITY FOR REVIEW AND ADOPTION

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Reform Act of 2015 (Republic Act No. 10742)
affirms the role of the Filipino youth in nation-building.

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Kabataan is mandated to create an Annual Barangay Youth

Investment Plan (ABYIP) to contain the specific programs, project and activities with corresponding
project costs including the necessary fund flows to approximate the reasonable Timing in the release of
fund;

WHEREAS, the annual Youth Investment Program (ABYIP) upon review, it was found out to be
in compliance to Sec 20 of Republic Act No. 10742 and Sec 2 of Comelec Minutes Resolution No. 17-
0128 dated February 28, 2017 entitled “Operational Guidelies on the Utilization of the Sangguniang
Kabataan Funds” amounting to 144, 960.70 Php.
 NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Karen Joy Borre, duly seconded by Hon. Rolando Bade
Jr., be it resolved as it is hereby resolved to approve and adopt the 2019 Annual Barangay Youth
Investment Program (ABYIP) covering the period January 1 to December 31, 2019.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution and the 2019 Annual Barangay Youth
Investment Program (ABYIP) be forwarded the Barangay Council and Sangguniang Bayan of President
Roxas, Capiz for review and adoption.

UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED.
