10. Certificate of MR
11. Certificate of Maintenance Release
b) Check cabin log book & technical log books & make
sure all write-ups have been cleared or deferred by
authorized personnel only
c) Check MEL Status
Walk Around Inspection (Refer Figure 1)
a. Check radome for obvious damage and security.
b. Check Static Ports, TAT and Pitot Static
probes, and Angle of Attack sensors for obvious
damage.
c. Check for oxygen thermal discharge indicator
disc (green).
d. Check crew oxygen system for correct pressure
at control cabin gage. Check pressure is
sufficient to satisfy dispatch requirements.
(Min. 1200PSI)
e. Check fuselage drain masts and drains for fluid
leakage.
2. f. Check Engine inlet, Fan blades, Engine Cowling
fairing, access panels, cowl latches &
drains/masts for obvious damage & dent.
g. Check thrust reversers, exhaust tail plug, and
exhaust case struts, visible turbine blades and
4th stage blades on LPT for obvious damage and
evidence of metal and/or oil accumulation.
h. Check CSD reservoir case oil level. Service if
required.
i. Wheels & tyres for obvious damage and wear.

j. Oleo (strut) for correct extension.
k. Check for presence of APU fire extinguisher
system discharge (yellow) and thermal relief

l. Check APU inlet and exhaust for obvious damage
and obstruction.
m. Check for missing or damaged navigation /
communication antennas.
n. Check visible portions of vertical fin and
rudder, horizontal stabilizer and elevators for
obvious damage and missing vortex generators on
the fuselage above horizontal stabilizer. Check
for presence of static dischargers.
o. Check fuselage and fuselage access/ service
panels, hatches (flushness with fuselage) and
cabin windows for obvious damage and security.
p. Check wing lower surfaces, wing tips and tank
vents for obvious damage and fuel leakage. Also
check for presence of static dischargers.
q. Check that flame arrestor pressure relief valve
pottet is flush.
r. Check visible portions of wing flight control
surface for obvious damage.
s. Check ram air inlet/ exhaust louvers,
pressurization relief valve and out flow valves
are free of obstructions.
t. Check the electronics and lower nose
compartment doors are closed and latched.
u. Check the forward and aft cargo compartments,
door for obstruction and door seals for
obvious damage. Verify that cargo door latches
are fully engaged.
Applicable to AP-BKO only
“Double check the aft cargo doors, to verify
that latches are fully engaged”.
v. Inspect lower lobe cargo compartment liners for
damage. Repair damaged liners before dispatch.
w. Inspect for leakage at lavatory service panels
(blue streaks). Leak discovered must be
repaired & a leak check performed prior to
further flight.
Refueling
3. a. Refuel the aircraft as per requirement

Departure
a. Use cockpit indications check oil, fuel,
hydraulic and oxygen quantities are correct for
aircraft dispatch.
b. Generally check control and pax. Cabins for

obvious discrepancy and cleanliness and rest
circuit breakers (C/B).
c. Check toilets are serviced and fire containment
door is closed.

intake and all blanks are removed.


e. Ensure ground pins and pitot covers are removed
(if installed).
f. When snow or ice condition exists, ensure
control surfaces and air intakes are free from
ice.
g. Ensure all doors and servicing panels are
closed and secured.
h. Prepare aircraft for departure, with necessary
personnel and equipment available, observing
all the safety precautions. Depart the
aircraft.
