OUR STORY SO FAR
25 Out of school  Pakistan is in the midst of an EDUCATION EMERGENCY where large
numbers of children are out of school

Orange Tree  Group of college students and some philanthropists teamed up and

2011 established
decided to launch a holistic program to provide quality education
and healthcare.

Initial batch of 11 students has grown to 163 alumni
OTF is a registered nonprofit organization today with a mission of
Students alumni providing mainstream education and quality healthcare to the
deserving students.
WHAT WE DO
 Orange Tree Foundation (“OTF”) - A tax-exempted, not-for-profit Educational Society based in Karachi
working towards EQUAL EDUCATION for all Pakistanis.

Unique Mother and Child Program – Mothers are taught along with the children

Targets working families who are financially


Supports education of deserving children in challenged yet at the same time, eager to
mainstream schools provide the best available education to their
children

 163 financially challenged students are studying in leading schools and colleges under the OTF Scholarship
Program

SOME ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS
 Daughter of a driver is studying in Dow Medical College and receiving scholarship purely on merit.
 Sons of deaf and mute parents are studying in Habib School and doing well in studies.
 Daughter of an office assistant working in a Travel Agency, is one of the brightest students at Reflections
School and she has recently become a Hafiza.
 Son belonging to a family abandoned by his father, is now studying in ICAP to become a Chartered Accountant.
 Mother of students is doing MBA from IoBM while her children are studying in Reflections School.
 Similarly, Father of students is studying in ICMA while his children are studying in Reflections School.
 Son of a drug addict is now studying in PETARO and is an outstanding student.
 Son of a driver has graduated from Generation School under Orange Tree program and is now becoming a
speech therapist from Ziauddin Hospital.
 Son of a printer has graduated from Nixor College on merit under Orange Tree program and is now studying in
ICAP to become a Chartered Accountant.
 An orphan girl is studying in Iqra University and is even receiving scholarship due to her outstanding results.
 There are 150 more stories of achievements and struggles of students and parents.
