Assignment Title: Q3 Mid-Unit: Macbeths Downfalls

Student Writing Goal: My writing goal is to stop using 1st and 2nd person when typing a argumentative essay.
Brainstorming a little more about the topic so I can have choices. Have someone to edit my paper and use bigger
words in the future.

Instructions:
1) Re-read the paper (and teacher feedback).
2) Complete this reflection sheet.
3) Revise the paper accordingly and highlight any changes.
4) Submit the revision and this reflection sheet.

What was the purpose of this writing assignment?

The purpose of this writing assignment was to find quotes and evidence to support who caused Macbeths
downfall. Also learn something and relate it to real life, so we as the writers can look back and relate it to real
life decisions.
How did you perform in relation to the expectations of the writing rubric?
I feel like I performed decently I have been doing better than my past essays. I did miss a couple of details
and points but they were not as bad as the past. I could have met more expectations from the rubric, I’m
trying to learn and improve my writing and typing skills.
What aspect of this piece did you do well? (give example/quotes to support claims)
I feel like I the aspect that I really nailed was my thesis and introduction it was really strong. I used a quote
from a influencer that really fit in with my topic. I believe it was impactful.
Why have you/haven’t you chosen to revise this writing assignment?
I chose to revise my essay because I want to learn and improve my skills when typing an essay. I also do not
want this to strongly impact my grade if I chose not to do this assignment. It is also good to look back and see
your progression when typing these assignments.
What will you do better in your next writing assignment, and how will I do it?
I will ask multiple of my peers if they can look over my assignment and revise it. Brainstorm a lot more so I
am able to choose from different ideas and topic so the read can be intrigued.
To what degree of success did you achieve your previously stated goal(s)?
I got a higher score on my assignment this time around and improve my writing skills and completed full
sentences when I revised my essay. I also correctly used the MLA format and did my work cited page. I
turned my essay in on time.
