Organization: Canada Revenue Agency Position: User Experience (UX) Specialist

Starting Salary: $66,411   Location: Ottawa - 750 Heron Rd.
Duration: 6 month term (possible extension)                       
Start Date: Spring 2019

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI),

Multimedia, Human Factors, Cognitive Science, or other related fields or

equivalent practical experience

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a UX related field

An understanding of the end-to-end iterative UX design process, including

how to research user needs, wireframing, prototyping, and user testing

Passion for identifying and solving user problems

Ability to research and analyze issues, and to synthesize research results

Familiarity with Morae software, Optimal Workshop, Adobe Creative Suite

or Microsoft Axure is an asset

As a member of our UX team you will:

Conduct user research such as user interviews, surveys etc.

Conduct moderated usability tests, card sorts, tree tests, first-click tests etc.

Conduct inspection reviews such as heuristic and expert evaluations

Analyze results and provide recommendations for improvement

Write reports and/or presentations to communicate findings and results
