A celebration I enjoyed was my friend’s Jimbo birthday.

He turned twelve
recently and his parents held a birthday party for him. I was one of those invited.

The party began at about three in the afternoon. There were about twenty of
us Jimbo’s friends gathered in his house. We gave our presents to Jimbo and he
happily opened them. After that Jimbo’s mother served us soft drinks and
delicious tidbits. We then played some games like "Musical Chairs" and "Treasure
Hunt".

At about four-thirty Fiona's mother brought out the birthday cake. It was
beautifully decorated with pink icing. We all sang "Happy Birthday" to Jimbo after
which he blew out the candles and cut the cake.

Finally at about six in the evening the party ended. We were all tired but
happy.
