Two Groups

Long-term planning:
4 sessions?
Session 1: Intro to group; discussing what stresses you out most as part of intro, confidentiality,
etc.; Purpose of the group and how much you carry; possible intro to TA and ego states;
baseline data assessment
Session 2: Intro to TA and personal ego grams; the major question of WHY you do what you do;
is it possible to take something off of your plate?
Session 3: Coping mechanisms – how to handle stress and anxiety in hard moments (discussing
TA, etc.), when you can’t take off your plate? REBTA – tendency to awfulize (This session could
shift and be a great opportunity for TA role plays, for members to help one another with
strengthening the adult and the fun child)
Session 4: Could be closing; what did you gain from the group? How will you approach stress
now? What will you do differently moving forward? Closing data assessment
