gaming industry .It tell about how pug will effect the positively and negatively.In this topic I also
cover the revenue of gaming industry and operational model of the PUBG game.

DEFINITION OF PUBG GAME

 Player Unknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) is an online multiplayer battle royale


game developed and published by PUBG Corporation, a subsidiary of South Korean video game
company Bluehole. The game is based on previous mods that were created by Brendan "Player
Unknown" Greene for other games, inspired by the 2000 Japanese film Battle Royale, and
expanded into a standalone game under Greene's creative direction. In the game, up to one
hundred players parachute onto an island and scavenge for weapons and equipment to kill others
while avoiding getting killed themselves . The available safe area of the game's map decreases in
size over time, directing surviving players into tighter areas to force encounters. The last player or
team standing wins the round.

 Battlegrounds was first released for Microsoft Windows via Steam's early access beta program in
March 2017, with a full release on December 20, 2017. That same month, the game was released
by Microsoft Studios for the Xbox One via its Xbox Game Preview program, and officially
released in September 2018. The same year, a free-to-play mobile version
for Android and iOS was released, in addition to a port for the PlayStation 4. Battlegrounds is one
of the best-selling and most-played video games of all time, selling over fifty million copies

worldwide by June 2018, with over 400 million players in total when including the mobile
version.

 Battlegrounds received positive reviews from critics, who found that while the game had some
technical flaws, it presented new types of gameplay that could be easily approached by players of
any skill level and was highly replayable. The game was attributed to popularizing the battle
royale genre, with a number of unofficial Chinese clones also being produced following its
success. The game also received several Game of the Year nominations, among other accolades.
PUBG Corporation has run several small tournaments and introduced in-game tools to help with
broadcasting the game to spectators, as they wish for it to become a popular esport. The game has
also been banned in some countries, such as India, Nepal and Iraq, for allegedly being harmful
and addictive for children in those regions

 GAMING INDUSTRY IN INDIA
 With one of the world’s largest youth population, India is poised to become one of the world’s
leading markets in Gaming Sector. Currently valued at USD 890 million, the Indian Gaming
Industry is estimated for the annual growth rate of 14.3 per cent with mobile Gaming taking the
lead at 71% share. The growth is driven by rising younger population, higher disposable
incomes, introduction of new gaming genres, and the increase in number of smartphone and
tablet users.

 With a growing consumer base and e-commerce solutions in place, the Indian game developer
ecosystem will have ample opportunity to innovate and provide compelling content with social
and cultural context, which is key in engaging the Indian consumer. With experience outsourcing,
QA testing and developing products combined with availability of creative talent, advanced
technology and low-cost, Indian markets provide the best opportunity for collaboration and
development work.

REVENUE OF GAMING INDUSTRY

Early on, development costs were minimal, and video games could be quite profitable.
Games developed by a single programmer, or by a small team of programmers and artists,
could sell hundreds of thousands of copies each. Many of these games only took a few
months to create, so developers could release multiple titles per year. Thus, publishers
could often be generous with benefits, such as royalties on the games sold. Many early
game publishers started from this economic climate, such as Origin Systems, Sierra
Entertainment, Capcom, Activision and Electronic Arts.

As computing and graphics power increased, so too did the size of development teams, as
larger staffs were needed to address the ever-increasing technical and design complexities.
The larger teams consist of programmers, artists, game designers, and producers. Their
salaries can range anywhere from $50,000 to $120,000 generating large labor costs for

firms producing videogames[41] which can often take between one and three years to
develop. Now budgets typically reach millions of dollars despite the growing popularity
of middleware and pre-built game engines. In addition to growing development costs,
marketing budgets have grown dramatically, sometimes consisting of two to three times of
the cost of development.[42]

The game development team has to select a profitable and suitable method to sell or earn
money from the finished game. Traditionally, the game monetization method is to sell hard
copies in retail store. Now some developers are turning to alternative production and
distribution methods, such as online distribution, to reduce costs and increase revenue.[43]

Today, the video game industry has a major impact on the economy through the sales of
major systems and games such as Call of Duty: Black Ops, which took in over $650 USD
million of sales in the game's first five days and which set a five-day global record for a
movie, book or videogame.[44] The game's income was more than the opening weekend
of Spider-Man 3 and the previous title holder for a video game Halo 3.[45] Many individuals
have also benefited from the economic success of video games including the former

chairman of Nintendo and Japan's third richest man: Hiroshi Yamauchi.[46] Today the global
video game market is valued at over $93 billion.[47]

The industry wide adoption of high-definition graphics during the seventh generation of
consoles greatly increased development teams' sizes and reduced the number of high-
budget, high-quality titles under development. In 2013 Richard Hilleman of Electronic Arts estimated
that only 25 developers were working on such titles for the eighth console generation, compared to 125
at the same point in the seventh generation-console cycle seven or eight years earlier.[48]

By 2018, the United States video game industry had matched that of the Unites States film industry on
basis of revenue, with both industries having made around US$43 billion that year

Gamers in India are spending nearly seven hours each week playing online games, with 23.4 %

players admitting to be playing for more than seven hours each week and 11.4 % more than 12

hours a week, according to the report. Gamers in India are compromising on meals, sleep and

social life while playing online games, and 49.2 % people are considering quitting their jobs to take

up gaming as a profession, according to a report on Tuesday.

Gamers in India are spending nearly seven hours each week playing online games, with 23.4 %

players admitting to be playing for more than seven hours each week and 11.4 % more than 12 hours

a week, revealed the report titled “State of Online Gaming” by US-based cloud services provider

Limelight Networks.

“The global gaming industry has evolved brilliantly, giving gamers increased access to a variety of

video and mobile games,” said Ashwin Rao, Director, Limelight Networks, India.

The time that gamers have been spending playing games has been interfering with their lifestyle,

social activities and career aspirations, the report highlighted.

According to the report, 45 % of Indian gamers accepted that they have missed sleep, 37 % admitted

to have skipped a meal, 35 % missed out on spending time with friends or going on a date, and 24.2

% skipped work just to play games.

Mobile phones remain the most popular device for playing games in India, followed by PCs and

tablets.

“Indians prefer to download games, with 90 % people finding the process of downloading video

games frustrating,” the report said.

“To support the continued growth of the gaming industry, game operators need to evaluate the state

of their content delivery platform to overcome the challenges of latency, especially for online

games,” said Rao.

The report is based on responses from 500 gamers in India, aged 18 and above.

HOW DOES PUBG AFFECT IN REAL LIFE

“Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds,” or “PubG”, is one of the most-watched battle-royale


game on Twitch. Young generation is playing it each and every day. Everyone loves to play
it. Celebrities, Youtubers, college and school students all are playing it.
If you don’t know what PubG is. You must be not living on this planet. This is a multi-player
online shooter game that allow for solo or team play and subscribes to the battle royale
format, which drops 100 players at a time into an enclosed space where they must
scavenge for weapons, medical supplies and other resources in an effort to be the last
player standing and getting “Chicken dinner”. Yes, that’s what a winner team is called in
PubG the “winner winner chicken dinner”. Lets see how PubG affects you in real life?
PubG game has both good effect and side effects or negative side effects on health,
education, career on people’s life. Are there can be any benefits of playing PubG as well?
How does it affect our mind in peositive or negative way?
Any kind of gaming is frowned upon by parents as time-wasters, and worse, some
education experts believe that these games corrupt the brain. Playing violent video games
can easily be blamed by the media and some experts as the reason why some young
people become violent or commit extreme anti-social behavior. Yes, they do have.
Everything which done out of bearable limit is poison for your life even the oxygen. Never
make anything your addiction even this super game PUBG.

The positive effect of the PUBG

Many scientists and psychologists find that video games can actually have many benefits –
the main one is making people smart. “Video games change your brain,” according to
University of Wisconsin psychologist C. Shawn Green. Playing games alter the brain’s
physiological structure in the same manner as do learning to read, navigating using a map,
or playing the piano. Much like exercise can build muscle, the effective combination of
concentration and rewarding surges of neurotransmitters like dopamine strengthen neural
circuits which can build the brain.
In shooting games like PubG, the character may be running and shooting at the same time.
This requires the real-world player to keep track of the position of the character, where
he/she is heading, his speed, where the gun is aiming, if the gunfire is hitting the enemy,
looking for the enemy and saving himself and so on. All these factors need to be taken into
account, and then the player must then coordinate the brain’s interpretation and reaction
with the movement in his hands and fingertips. This method requires a great deal of eye-
hand coordination and visual-spatial capability to succeed.
One of the worst stereotype associated with playing games is that those who do
are awkward social rejects. Individual who is afraid of speaking his feelings in front of the
world can talk to other players while playing the PubG. What I think is we don’t actually
need to play this on PC only, this is the one of the best game to play on your mobile phone.
When you play with your friends, you talk to them and you stay in contact with them. That’s
really a very nice thing.

PubG makes you response faster than you use to do. One of my patients was really scared
of centipede in her whole lifetime. Then, she started playing PubG. After some days, she
saw a centipede in the bathroom. She wasn’t afraid, she wasn’t violent, she didn’t scream
for the first time. She took the action immediately and throw that centipede out. This way it
makes reflexes fast.
As you have to concentrate and do many things altogether in this game, this game is one of
the best to get rid of any negative thoughts. One of my friend was going through a bad
phase after she had a breakup, she was getting suicidal thoughts, and then PubG came in
her life like miracle. She got to busy with this game for some days. And slowly, she moved
on.
A 2017 study published in Frontiers in Psychology, for example, didn’t find any long-term
effects of playing violent video games and empathy.

The negative effects of PUBG

Most of the bad effects of video games are blamed on the violence they contain. That’s
what people says about PubG as well. Children who play more violent video games are
more likely to have increased aggressive thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and
decreased helping others.
People can be addicted to video gaming. The WHO in 2018 declared gaming addiction as
a mental health disorder. Addiction to video games increases their depression and anxiety
levels.
Addicted people also exhibit social phobias. Too much video game playing makes you
keep busy with the game only. You may become socially isolated. You may have less
sleep. Also, you may spend less time on other activities such as doing reading,
sports, interacting with the family and friends and also sometimes not concentrating on your
career as well.
Although, Every other person react in a different way. For some, its interesting and
competitive while for some its boring. A person had said “PubG did change my perception
in real life. I have now became a better employee because I am more careful with every
single detail at work (I work as a receptionist in a clinic). It’s like it unlocked a whole new
Spectrum of ways to act in my brain. I know it sounds crazy but PubG really IS like a drug,
a good one that is, when taking responsibly, just like anything else.” on reddit. PubG
changed his life. But other people commented in another way on the same article.

I myself also played this game for few days. And my personal experience is- PubG is a very
addictive game. You can’t get asleep while playing this. You spend or waste a hell lot of
time on PubG. And also, you not only spend your time on playing but also on watching
others on streaming channel and youtube. I also faced a kind of heaviness when i started
playing because of too much concentration it needs. But, later on this got resolved. Don’t
know about other, but i love this game until and unless this is a huge addiction.
These days many news coming out regarding pubg like The teenager jumped to his
death from his uncle’s fourth-floor flat in east China.
A single game takes around half an hour and yes, you can not stop at one game. So, this is
really a time consuming game.
Also, i have noticed one of my friend complaining of vertigo, weakness and flickering in
front of eyes after he became addicted to this.
What I suggest is Just don’t make this battleground game your addiction.

RESEARCH PROBLEM 1

The first circle is five minutes after the ring, and then five minutes to finish the ring. Second rings,

Research of problem 2

In the course of the game, we can not avoid fighting against the enemy, which is also one of the key

there is no bunker around. If we want to fight, we need to be stronger than the other side. In the

REASEARCH PROBLEM 3

In the game DOTA, LOL and hero of Newerth, KDA refers to KILL DEATH ASSIST (killing rate,
mortality rate, support rate). Usually KD RATIO (KDR) is used to compare murder rate and mortality
rate [4]. In this game PUBG we set the formula as: the number of killings / the number of ground
*5, and the default of 1 if the number of ground falls is 0.

MODEL EVALUATION

Advantage: We have grasped the main factors to solve the problem and abandoned some minor
factors, so the answer is simple. Shortcoming:
(1) The problem of the model does not make a specific analysis of sex, thus neglecting the influence
of sex, and the completeness of the model is poor.
(2) The model can not effectively and intuitively see the relationship between the various factors
and the quality of sleep.
(3) There may be errors in the data referred to, which leads to the inevitable error in the operation
of the data, and the accuracy of the data will be reduced. Improvement of model: There are various
kinds of uncontrollable factors in the game. We can not predict the enemy's actions. Therefore, we
need to collect more data in the game to sort out all the factors that may be related to the game
results, so that we can better reflect the correctness of the model results.

Next step of research

The next step of research : Suppose the people is a intelligent robot, the main contents of this
paper are multi-objective optimization, including avoiding the best evade routes and methods of
poison gas and random bombing, the routes and methods to get the fastest offensive weapons and
defensive equipment, and the comprehensive solutions to the above problems. Continuing to
improve the mathematical model, introducing matrix is a path. The firearms, helmet and medicine
package of the fastest access route may depend on the beginning of the parachute landing, so I'm
going to be on the map in a Cartesian coordinate system, then the points on the map as coordinate
points, each point has coordinates, and we will fall in with his teammates placement closer (i.e. the

CONCLUSION

To solve the problem 1, For the best time of parachute jumping and the location of parachute
jumping, people should choose the central area parachute. We will adjust it to 200m from the

problem 2, We have to consider separately from three aspects: The balance of potential,
Advantage due, and Inferior duel. To solve the problem 3, we set the formula as: the number of
