Reflection
(Minimum of 3-4 sentences per question)
1. Briefly describe the field experience. What did you learn about technology coaching and technology leadership from completing this field
experience?

This field experience involved preparation and presenting at the Future of Education Technology Conference (FETC) in Orlando, Florida in January of
2018. As an Instructional Technology Specialist, I was selected to share information on various Web 2.0 tools with FETC attendees. Through this field
experience, I learned how to research content applicable to teaching and learning, create content, and how to deliver material that is digestible to an audience
of a wide variety

2. How did this learning relate to the knowledge (what must you know), skills (what must you be able to do) and dispositions (attitudes, beliefs,
enthusiasm) required of a technology facilitator or technology leader? (Refer to the standards you selected above. Use the language of the PSC
standards in your answer and reflect on all 3—knowledge, skills, and dispositions.)

Knowledge - In order to complete this field experience, it was necessary to be knowledgeable of the Web 2.0 tools Adobe Spark Video, Page, and Post as
well as Google Forms. Between each presentation, attendees were able to learn how to use the Adobe Spark Suite tools in a variety of creative methods as
well as how to use intermediate features within Google Forms within their learning environments.
Skills - Both FETC presentations required a great deal of preparation and research. It was necessary to curate material for delivery and for attendees to be
able to access materials as a future resource. It was also imperative to be able to effectively share the relevance of my content.

Dispositions - In order for this presentation to be successful, it was necessary to possess a disposition of honesty, transparency, and positivity for attendees.

3. Describe how this field experience impacted school improvement, faculty development or student learning at your school. How can the impact be
assessed?

Since this field experience reached a wide audience, it is my hope that the strategies that I provided are beneficial within their environments. Based on the
level of engagement and feedback, I was able to measure the success of this field experience. The goal is for attendees to begin to leverage the presented
tools within their own environments to support their colleagues and students.
