words and find out the difference
between each one.

Differentiation activities (Support)

The teacher will focus on the circle, triangle, rectangle and square shapes with
reading and writing each word then we will find the difference between each one
and the teacher will explain for them how we know each shape and where we find
this shape.

Differentiation activities (Stretch)

There will be a different set of activities.

- In the writing section they will focus in writing sentence with shapes and
they have example (I can see a square, I can see a rectangle, I can see a
circle, I can see a triangle)
- In art section they will have a colors paper it cut like shapes and the
learner will make mouse by 2D shapes.
- In math section they will have a worksheet about home build with 2D
shapes then the students will count each shape and will put the total
numbers then they will make patterns with shapes.
- In science centre they will explore the pictures they have it after that
they will expose each picture and will put it in right basket if its triangle,
circle, rectangle or square shapes.
- In reading section, they will have shapes book to read.
- In role play centre each two student will work together, they will have
cube with half picture of shapes then the student will install cubes to
form a shape.

Reflection:

On Wednesday 27th March, I taught KG2D from Al Naseem school in the classroom.
The students learned about 2D shapes. My lesson was about Explore 2D shapes in
exploration and play. I wanted to know if students know what the 2D shapes mean is and
how we to differentiate between 2D shapes and 3D shapes. I put for them some
pictures and asked them if they were a 2D shapes or 3D shapes. I try to make students
exited for the lesson I start with " Explain the 2D shapes and what is main of the 2D
shape and I focus in circle, rectangle, triangle and square then I let the student draw
each shape in the air then I gave them round ring for dancing and last things I put picture
in the computer to find 2D shapes.Since I know that KG2D are so active students they
prefer to move instead of sitting on the carpet, so I try to add an activity that allows them
to move and search I think they like it. In the writing section they will focus in
writing sentence with shapes and they have example (I can see a square, I
can see a rectangle, I can see a circle, I can see a triangle). In art section
they will have a colors paper it cut like shapes and the learner will make
mouse by 2D shapes. In math section they will have a worksheet about
home build with 2D shapes then the students will count each shape and will
put the total numbers then they will make patterns with shapes. In science
centre they will explore the pictures they have it after that they will expose
each picture and will put it in right basket if its triangle, circle, rectangle or
square shapes. In reding section, they will have shapes book to read. I think
students react well with me, they like the all my various activities. I do think that my
lesson meets my teaching goals. My MST was very happy of me she told me that I did
better than she expected, and the student also was very happy for the lesson because it
combined learning and fun. are very joyful and energetic so sometimes she had hard
time to calm them down and I understand that when I gave them a lesson, but it was a
good experience I will d my best next time. I will try to catch the student’s attention with
a good activates that allows them to have fun instead of keeping them sitting and staring
to the board. Also, next time I will manage my time better, I think the opining took more
time that I planned.
