RULE 3 : FIELDING
(a) The starting fielders will be decided by drawing of lots following 2(a).
(b) There will be only 12 fielders on the field.
(c) The wicket keeper will be the person from the same team as the bowler.
RULE 5 : BOWLING
(a) Each member of a team will have to bowl 2 overs.
(b) No member of any team will be allowed to bowl 2 overs consecutively.
RULE 6 : POINTS
(a) Each run scored by a batter, off the bat, will account as 1 point for his/her team.
(b) Each bye or leg-bye will count as 1/2 point to the batter's team.
(c) A wide-ball shall subtract 1 point from the bowling team and the ball shall be rebowled. No
points will be credited to the batting team for wides unless they run byes in which case 1/2
point shall be added for each run.
(d) If a no-ball is bowled, one point will be deducted from the bowling team. There will be no
extra runs credited to the batting side as a penalty for the no-ball. However, any runs
scored from a no-ball (off the bat, byes or leg byes) will be credited.
(e) Each time a batter is out, 2 points will be deducted from his team's score.
(f) For each wicket taken by a bowler, the bowling team shall get 2 points.
(g) A catch shall add 1 point to the catcher's team, a stumping gives 3 points to the wicket-
keeper's team.
(h) For a run-out, nobody shall get any points unless it is a direct hit to the stumps, in which
case the thrower's team shall get 2 points.
