Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing in response to your job posting which appeared on your web site. The
position of Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Mechanics - Apprentice (Job Number:
ONGOING-APP-M-640-18), is of considerable interest to me and I believe I have the
qualifications and experience required for this position.
I am a 2nd year student of Mechanical Engineering Technology at New Brunswick
Community College, and I will graduate on this June. Although I did not take the Aircraft
Maintenance Engineer program from an accredited Transport Canada, I still have a chance to
get an AME license within one year if I take an eight-month distance learning course through
ICS Canada (www.icslearn.ca). Transport Canada has reviewed my documents and allowed me
to take write the M technical exams as soon as I finished that online course.
I was an A&P mechanic, and I had seven-year experience of maintaining and repairing
on Boeing and Airbus aircrafts, specially I was authorized to release to service on United
Airlines, Korean Air, JeJu Air, and Xiamen Airlines aircrafts. Type of aircrafts I worked on are
B737 and A330.
After you have examined the enclosed resume for details of my qualifications, I would be
happy to answer questions. Please call me or send me an email via havythoai@live.com to
arrange an interview at your convenience so that we discuss how my ability could contribute to
Jazz Aviation.

Sincerely,
Thomas Ha
