Assignment Title:: Q3 Mid-Unit: Macbeth's Downfall

Student Writing Goal: My writing goal is to get a B+ or higher on all assessments. I want to stay focus on my entire
paper and use enough argument and evidence with not mistakes if that is possible.

What was the purpose of this writing assignment?

The objective of this writing assignment was to elaborate an essay explaining the guilt of Macbeth’s
downfall. Although I was a little confuse about it, I tried to attend some tutoring classes to understand better
the story. This essay allowed me to be prepared for some real life facts like types of persons and how to deal
with that. This essay will help me how to elaborate next essays like this in college, I will be able to use this
essay as a base.
How did you perform in relation to the expectations of the writing rubric?
I feel as I did a good research and work. Although I have never read this story of Shakespeare I tried to
understand it and explain it., I know I could have probably include more arguments or better quotes but I
believe I did a good work.

What aspect of this piece did you do well?

Honestly I like my goal in this essay, which is “Ambition is the path of success. Persistence is the vehicle you
arrive in.” I believe my objective was very clear and honest. I hope my teacher could appreciate mi hard work
in this essay. It shows I show that I have improved in my writing.

Why have you/haven’t you chosen to revise this writing assignment?

I revised this assignment because my resume needed to be cleaned up and organized. I will not be using this
for my extended essay because it is a resume.

What will you do better in your next writing assignment, and how will I do it?
. However, now I see how important this essay to understand and improve my writing. I tried to take seriously
this essay since my grade depends of this. In the future, I will take all writing assignments serious as I know
each piece I will make sure that I stay focused on the prompts on all of my essays and use textual evidence –
as we know, everything needs to be supported with evidence.

To what degree of success did you achieve your previously stated goal(s)?
My goal was to score a B on all assessments and I did reach that goal with this resume – I scored an 80%. I
caught some grammar mistakes but my teacher let me fix it. My essay had some wrong capitalize words in a
few sentences. After re-reading my cover letter, I realized that I could fix some things to get a better grade on
this assignment. I need to read the steps over and over again until I stay focused and clear on the correct way
of the writing assignment.
