How does it work?

The portable air conditioning system is designed to cool air to

about 24°C. It achieves this goal in the following manner. At the
top, the unit has a fan which’s duty is to suck in outside, room
temperature air. Inside the apparatus and directly in front of the
fan is a radiator connected to a water pump that ends on icy water
at the bottom of the system. Once connected to a power supply,
the pump takes the water to the radiator, cooling it. As the air
passes through the cool radiator, it reaches a temperature of
equilibrium, as stated before, at about 24°C. From the radiator, the
air continues flowing on the inside of the unit and finds its way to
the exhaust pipe, from which you, my fellow client, can feel the
cooling wonder of air conditioning.

Mission
Tired of spending those hot summer days without being able to get
cool? You can’t turn your AC on because the bills come to high and
either way it isn’t cool enough. You don’t have a pool and your fan
is not good enough?
Well fellows we present to you the new portable air conditioner.
Easy to carry around wherever you go... its size is adequate just
enough for you to carry it like a hand bag. Staying in because the
temperature is steaming hot outside; well, those days are over!
This portable air conditioner is made of a cooler, yes! The ones use
to go to the beach. Just by connecting it you will transform 32
Celsius to 24 in an instant. Isn’t that amazing? And the best part is
that as it is connected to a conventional 120V outlet, the expenses
of a normal air conditioner don’t exist anymore. You will feel it, but
your pocket won’t!

Increased Performance

This prototype has three main routes to go for further improvement of its
final result, which is the cooling of air. First, it is elementary to allude to the
relation that exists between two of the prototype’s main parts, the fan and
the radiator, since an increase in size of both results in overall better
performance, given that a fan with increased diameter can let in more air and
a radiator with more mass can interact with more air particles at the same
time. First route, a bigger fan, second one, a bigger radiator, and for third, a
problem that represents the major setback in purposes of practicality to the
prototype, the re-freezing of water after every night of usage. This latter
problem can be easily solved with the addition of two reusable ice packs; the
two packs are put in the freezer and before the prototype is to be used, they
are both inserted into the water, with no need of getting the whole mass of
water to the fridge and back. With these three adjustments the prototype
instantly becomes much more efficient and infinitely more practical.

So, because you are lukewarm – neither hot nor cold – I am about to spit
you out of my mouth.”

In this project we’ve been working on a portable AC system and, as we have

seen, it works by changing the temperature of the air. Revelation 3:16 shows
us the Lord doesn’t want us to be “lukewarm”, He expects a defined
temperature, a defined position. In many occasion Jesus showed this
sentence from the Father. He said that whoever is not with Him is against
Him, but this expression in revelations has a deeper meaning that just a
definite position in actions. This sentence refers to a relationship with God. It
is a pretty clear allegory, so clear it could even be considered literal; the
symbolism of hot and cold in relationships gets a whole new sense when
talking about our relationship with God. Being hot in our relationship with
the Lord means being in disagreement, in enmity; it means hell, which is
literally… hot. Being cold in our relationship with God would mean to
converge with Him, being His friends; it means heaven, which is not hell and
if hell is hot, and then it’s opposite would be cold.

God is telling us here that with Him there are no midpoints, it’s hot or cold.
Obviously, God hates hot, He hates sin but, He loves humanity and for that
reason He made a way. Jesus came to the earth and took the punishment
sinners deserved, washing them with His blood, enabling communion with
God. Jesus is just like the radiator in our AC. Humans were hot but, He came
and made some physics with us. Jesus took our heat, God’s wrath poured all
over Him; He gained heat. As a consequence, because heat gained is equal to
heat lost, we were cooled down, restored in our relationship with the Father.
Now we can see that not only there is one Mediator between God and men,
but also, only one Radiator between God and men, Jesus.
