I. Objectives:
At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to:
a. Differentiate technical and operational definition;
b. Construct sentences using technical and operational definition of
words selected by the teacher; and
c. Express the importance of technical and operational definition by
participating with the prepared activities.
B. Lesson Proper

The teacher will ask the following questions:
How did you come up with the words associated to the
pictures?
How did you come up with your definition?
Is your definition based on what is written on the
dictionary?
Is your definition of the associated words to the pictures
based on your experiences?
Is your definition of the associated words to the pictures
based on the definition of others?
c. Abstraction
Example:
Global Warming - an abnormality of climate.
Mother – a female parent
Love – the feeling that is coming from heart.

d. Application
The students will stay in their respective groups
The teacher instructs the students to create sentences
from these words; love, climate change and mother.
Each group must have one sentence using the technical
definition and other one sentence using operational
definition.
Each word must have two sentences; one for technical
definition and one for operational definition.
The group must pick a representative to read the
sentences they have created in front of class.
V. Assignment
Do you agree to make the divorce bill a law? Justify your answer.
