Dear Mario Rivadeneira,

I’m writing to you to respond to the Personal Banker position at your location that was posted on
the job search page for Wells Fargo. Currently, I’m enrolled at Salt Lake Community College
and have been studying General Education for my Associate of Science Degree.

I’ve been with Wells Fargo over a year now starting as a Teller then promoting to a Lead Teller
and it’s the best job I’ve had. When I was younger I didn’t know what I wanted to do for a
career. I decided in high school that I was going to figure it out while I was in college but once I
got to college nothing sparked interest. Now that I’ve been with Wells Fargo I realized this is the
path I want to take to further my career within this company.

While I was a Teller, I learned skills that I was able to utilize for the Lead Teller position. Now
that I’m applying for the Personal Banker position, I’ve gained knowledge on some of the tasks a
Personal Banker does. I practiced in the Training Bank to navigate SVP as well as take on roles
such as a Branch Engagement Leader and Risk Captain.

What I’ve found really fulfilling being on the teller line is building rapport with customers and
discovering their financial needs and goals. The role of a Personal Banker will be the perfect
opportunity for me to dive more into depth with customers and really be able to work hands-on
with them.
