Learning priority: Learn Arabic alphabets and develop pre-writing skills.

Tala, mashaAllah you are a quick learner. It’s amazing to observe you and see how you love
learning, you only joined with us a couple of months ago. In this short time you not only feeling
at home, you showing how capable learner you are as well. Love of learning is a good disposition
for a child a acquire.
We know that English is your second language, and I am sure you will learn English eventually
beside Arabic language and Quran. As your parents aspiration and our goal for you to become
more knowledgeable about Quran and Arabic language, we are encouraging you to learn more. I
am so pleased to see you are showing a big improvement in Arabic. Arabic is your language and
you need to learn how to read and write. In our classroom there are plenty of opportunities for
the children to develop pre- reading and pre-writing skills in both English and Arabic.
In our group times everyday children have opportunity learn one letter, learn the sound of that
letter and words associated with that letter, and practice writing that letter as well. The other
day I was observing you Tala and were surprised to see your enthusiasm. You sat there so long
concentrating on writing. It was wonderful to see how you enjoyed practice writing Arabic
alphabet.

What’s next?
InshaAllah , we will provide plenty of opportunities
with learning experiences to further develop your
language acquisition in Arabic and in English.
