It supplies electricity to both for the commercial and industrial use. The modern

machinery in industries can not be operated without electricity, similarly electricity is

of same importance in agriculture. The people use electricity in homes for different

purposes.

Although we have find that PESCO plays very important role but we have also find

that it have some negative impacts on the society . It effect the industrial as well as

domestic jobs through loudsheding . It also suffers huge losses because of theft of

electricity and poor collection of arrears. These problems can be solved through

efficient management, implementing modern machinery, construction of new dames.

However electricity is like a drug and we, society are the junkies unable to live

without a fix and totally dependent on electricity

4.7 SUGGESTIONS & RECOMMENDATIONS:

1. Strict polices must be established to reduce the theft of electricity and correct

action will be taken against electricity thieves. We should have to put mitters in

each home like in china . When you put card on it then electricity will come to

your home. Otherwise it will be stoped. The consumers have to use the electricity

with great care and donot consume it without availing benefit from it .The

23
government have to take all the possible steps in order to save the electricity . So

that they can prevent themselves from loss .

2. Give promotion to competent staf , it help in increasing the capacity and thus

loudsheding time duration reduced to please the society.

3. Establish modern computer system in all offices.

the recording process.
