Vocabulary Words This Week’s Objectives


Please know the spelling and definitions
of the words below: Reading/Writing: In this unit, students choose to
research about either Roberto Clemente or Althea
1. acceptance: approval Gibson: two respected American sports figures.

system for the first quadrant of the coordinate plane and

number line as an introduction to the idea of a
coordinate, and they construct two perpendicular
number lines to create a coordinate system on the
plane. As always, we are continuing to work on writing
about math and thoroughly explaining our steps when
solving.
