Lake Worth Band Parents and Guardians:

My Name is David Suarez and I am the new Director of Instrumental Studies (band) at Lake Worth Community Middle.
I would like to personally welcome you to the 2017-2018 school year.

This year we have a very exciting and busy musical year ahead of us here at LWCMS. The decision to participate in
our Band program is a special process, for making music together is a wonderful shared experience that strength the
growth of your child academically and creatively.

Our Mission Statement

THE WARRIOR BAND SEEKS TO ENGAGE, EDUCATE AND EMPOWER THE STUDENTS THROUGH THE POWER OF
MUSIC AND THE SHARED EXPERIENCE OF THE MUSIC MAKING PROCESS. STUDENTS MUST ALWAYS BE INSPIRED
TO EXPLORE NEW INTERESTS AND EXPAND THEIR TALENTS, TO LEARN ABOUT THEIR CULTURE AND THE
CULTURES OF OTHERS, TO BELIEVE IN THEIR OWN ABILITIES AND POTENTIAL, AND TO FIND AN OUTLET OF
EXPRESSION FOR THEIR UNIQUE MUSICAL FEELINGS AND IDEAS.

In order to make this vision possible your support is very important to helping make this opportunity for your child
possible.

This said, on SEPTEMBER 1, 2017 CHAFIN MUSIC CENTER will be here on campus from 4:30-6:30 to set up rental
agreements with you. It is very important that you come out this night to get all the material your child will need for
the participation in this wonderful music experience.

Attached, I have enclosed a price list regarding rental amounts per instrument to allow you to make the best choice
possible to fit our financial budget. PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AND GO OVER IT WITH YOUR CHILD.

Lake Worth Band Padres y Guardianes:

Mi nombre es David Suárez y soy el nuevo Director de Estudios Instrumentales (banda) en Lake Worth
Community Middle. Me gustaría darle la bienvenida personalmente al año escolar 2017-2018.

Este año tenemos un año musical muy emocionante y ocupado por delante aquí en LWCMS.

La decisión de participar en nuestro programa de banda es un proceso especial es una experiencia

compartida maravilloso que le dará respaldo al crecimiento de su hijo académicamente y creativamente.

Nuestra Misión

LA BANDA WARRIOR busca involucrar, educar y capacitar a los alumnos a través poder de la música y de
la experiencia compartida del proceso de crear de música. El estudiante siempre debe inspirarse
EXPLORAR nuevos intereses y ampliar sus talentos, para aprender sobre su cultura y las culturas de los
demás, creer en sus propias capacidades y potenciales, y para tener una escapatoria de expresión de sus
sentimientos musicales único e ideas.

Para que esta visión sea posible, su apoyo es muy importante para ayudar a que esta oportunidad sea
posible para su hijo.

Dicho esto, 1 de septiembre, 2017 Chafin Centro de Música será su en el campus de 4: 30-6: 30 para
establecer contratos de alquiler con usted. Es muy importante que salgas esta noche para obtener todo el
material que tu hijo necesitará para participar en esta maravillosa experiencia musical.
