In the modern era, the use of technology is the center of many daily activities. On the
other side, education is deeply influenced by technology. The use of smartphones made
studying for many students so much easy and convenient. Smartphones are incorporated with
different applications that are very useful in many ways. But what are these applications? And
how can a student use them to perform well in school? Here is the list of the applications that a
student must have to have a good study habit and to achieve great grades in every subject.

The first application a student must have is the Writer, Presentation and Spreadsheets
or WPS Office, previously known as Kingsoft Office. It is an application suited for iOS and
Android. It is a free Office Suite application with lots of features. It enables the students to do
word processing, to make spreadsheets, to read pdf files and etc. It is very efficient and
convenient for students as editing and formatting of their document files is just one click away
from their smartphones.

Another important application in students' phones are dictionaries. Students often


encounter many unfamiliar words especially when they are writing essays and any other written
texts that is why it is essential for a student to have a dictionary as dictionaries are useful
learning resource. And when it comes to electronic dictionaries, Merriam-Webster Dictionary is
one of the most downloaded dictionary applications. It is unique, regularly updated, easy to use
and more importantly, it is free. Merriam-Webster Dictionary is not only a just a dictionary, it also
offers a thesaurus that is helpful for finding synonyms and antonyms of words. What’s promising
is that Merriam-Webster also offers games and quizzes that are fun and very helpful in
broadening someone's vocabulary.

Next is Photomath. Mathematics is one of the hardest subjects that most students find
