To make Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) free from carbon emission from vehicles
we are suggesting /recommending (choose 1) that students cycle to get around
campus rather than using the buses and cars.

2.1 Reasons why the bicycle is chosen to solve the problem.

1. A bicycle does not emit carbon dioxide.
2. A good form of exercise when they cycle to get around uum or out of uum,
3. Good for the environment, reduce noise pollution as well

2.4.1 Road Bikes
1. Road bikes are designed and built to be ridden fast on smooth pavement.
Normally they are light, have skinny tyres and “drop” handlebars and the best
part is they can be used for on-road racing and also for fun cycling with friends.
The bike is not suitable to carry heavy loads since it is meant for easy
maneuvering and to be able to get in between other cyclists. The prince ranges
 from rm750.00 to more than rm10000.00 since the frame is made from
aluminum and carbon fibre to give it greater strength or resistance to corrosion.
They are also very light hence you do not need to use much energy when
cycling.
