Answer for the Question

It is important to block theDC signal because during the analysis of a

Common-Emitter Bipolar Junction Transistor. The capasitor blocks the DC
signal and make it as a open circuit. By this design, the DC signal cannot
amplify as the capasitor because its blocks the DC component of the input
signal.
DISCUSSION

For the discussion from the experiment that we have done, the procedure
is to measured the values of each resistor. This procedure is to verify the
value of each resistor. Next procedure is to calculate the Base, Collector and
Emitter terminal. We also have adjust the Vsig to 20 mV, and the frequency
values in the AC analysis.

Next, the first thing to know is the output voltage which is V o. We can
observed the output through the oscilloscope. The waveform that been
obtained proved that the voltage input and voltage output has been amplified.
The results shows the positive waveform and we adjust the oscilloscope, the
waveform will become distorted.

Then, we compared the input of impedence, Zi between the calculated

part and the measurement part. Our output for the Zi are totally distorted
because we are having the oscilloscope problem. The oscilloscope cannot
give us the right waveform. So we can conclude that there are slightly
different between calculation and measurement part for our output in Z i.
Last but not least, we are required to calculate and measured the output
impedence Zo. From the output, we conducting the same procedure. The
results still shows the same result cause of the oscilloscope problem. What
we can observed from this experiment is our experiment are not in positive
result cause of the oscilloscope problem.

CONCLUSION

We can conclude that our experiment are not in the good result as the
problem occur from the oscilloscope but we all done measured and calculate
the both part which is the AC analysis and DC analysis part. The results that
we get is slightly different from the theoretical part. Each bias required a
different setup and gave the values are slightly different from the theoretical
part. The values that we have obtained are also different.
