Founded on July 5, 2002, PT Geo Dipa Energi (Persero) is one of Indonesian state-owned
company which utilize geothermal energy as one of the country power plant sources of
energy. Geo Dipa Energi strives to meet national electrical power demand by capitalizing
on the cost-efficient and environmental qualities of geothermal energy. There are
numbers of company core activities includes the exploration steps, geothermal area
exploitation steps, power plant development steps until the distribution of the electricity
as the result of geothermal energy utilization to the electric interconnected transmission
in Java, Madura and Bali. Currently Geo Dipa Energi manages 4 geothermal working areas
with potential power resource of 1070 MW, Dieng Field: 400 MW, Patuha Field: 400 MW,
Arjuno Welirang Field: 180 MW, Candi Umbul Field 120 MW.
