III. JOB DESCRIPTION
1 Report to - Project Planning Manager
2 Delegate - To be assigned by Project Planning Manager / Department
Planning Manager
3 Responsibility - Responsible for making detail plans of all relevant project
tasks, which base on task content and contract. These plans
belong to Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Pre-
commissioning, Commissioning and Launching.
- Coordinate with Construction Supervisor/ Superintendent to
consider and identify the involvement and the dependence
between fabrication and specific equipments.
- Deploy plans up to level 2 or level 3. This depends on
milestones, contract schedules, S curve schedules (in general

and in detail) and charts.
- Monitor work schedule and changes in plans (if any) and

update new plan schedules as estimated or required.

Coordinate with planning engineers of subcontractors in order
to synthesize their plans to the overall project plans.
- Ensure all essential items, materials, equipments, which have
been clearly figured out in the plan, will be present in the site.
Estimate the manpower for fabrication, installation, launching,
onshore and offshore commissioning.
- Project schedule reports: make daily, weekly, monthly and
quarterly reports in accordance with approved forms.
- Project schedule analysis: Based on the planned project
schedule, monitor and update practical schedule, which can be
a base for monitoring project schedule; figure out risks,
evaluate and analyze causes of project delay; and propose
corresponding solutions.
- Build plans which can recover the project schedule: Based on
project schedule analysis, make appropriate plans to recover

project schedules. Responsible for considering and ensuring
assigned tasks to be completed in accordance with HSE
requirement during task implementation.
- Update manpower, cost and data relating to project plan.
- Timely report to superior about difficulties that are out of
control.
- Propose appropriate solutions to logicize fabrication, enhance
productivity and save materials.
- Have responsibilities to ensure HSE policies for manpower and
properties, which are under his/her management.
- Spread out all HSE knowledge to subordinates and ensure them
understand such knowledge clearly.
- Consider HSE solutions during planning process and work
implementation.

all tasks are implemented in accordance with HSE regulations.

- Have the right to refuse or stop implementing assigned tasks or
require other ones to stop his/her work if recognize risks
directly causing accidents/ affecting health or environment;
report to authorities for problem solving.

implement assigned tasks.
4 Other tasks - Tasks are applied once incurring or tasks are given as per the
request from Project Manager.
5 Internal - Relationship with relevant departments/ project disciplines.
Relationship - Relationship with Workshop/ Construction team to ensure the
accuracy and quickness.
6 External - Relationship with client, vendors and other parties relating to
Relationship duties in charge.
7 Standards of - Standards of performance should be complied with the
performance Performance Appraisal procedure of the Company or
implemented as per the request of Project Manager or the
Client.
